Pedro & Petra's Healing Hands

Several years ago my father had a stroke and was paralyzed on half of his body. The doctors told him he would need several therapy sessions to even begin to get his use back. We took him to Pedro and after only two visits and thanks to the Lord and Pedro he was walking, talking, and eating without any help or problem almost as if nothing happened. I continue to go to Pedro for any discomfort, pain, or injury. I recommend them to anyone who needs some relief.

I have been going to Pedro's and Petra's healing hands for several years and for several reasons. In my experience with them they are all very professional, Pedro is primarily Spanish speaking and does understand English, however his wife Petra and son who both work with him are bilingual. So whenever Pedro doesn't understand his client he will ask for help. One of my several visits was for the reason of a pre- natal massage when I was 24 1/2 weeks pregnant. During my visit Pedro did all he could to make sure I was comfortable. Throughout the massage he would ask if I was comfortable or felt any pain. He does several different techniques from the many schools and classes he has attended, so his massages blend together to best help the client. They are always trying to better themselves. He also put a warm mat on me to help with circulation to make sure not to harm the baby. I had also gone to him for a siactic nerve pain I was feeling and when he had to have me on my stomach he gave me pillows to support my body so no weight was put on my stomach. Most of the massage was done on my back which doesn't harm baby or mother or on my side. I also wanted to make an appt when I was 36 weeks and he explained I was too far along and it could harm the baby or even send me into labor. He also explained that he couldn't tell if the pain was pain or contractions. He won't do anything he isn't sure about. I highly recommend them for any type of massage. The specialize in all types of massages.

I scheduled a prenatal massage but I was very dissatisfied. I am 26 weeks pregnant. When I went for the massage, Pedro, did not understand to much English so he did not understand what I was telling him. He applied to much pressure and I was continually told by him to lie on my back, which can be harmful to my baby and pregnancy. There were no pillows to make me feel comfortable. What I received was a Swedish massage not a prenatal. I stopped the massage before my hour was done but I still had to pay for the full hour. If you are looking on getting a prenatal massage there, my advice to you is not go there. They do not know how to give it properly. I was very disappointed.
