        The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, located in Milwaukee, is an accredited college that provides Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in the fields of communication design, drawing, illustration, industrial design, integrated fine arts studio, interior architecture, design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and time-based media. Founded in 1974, the college offers courses to more than 600 students. Its pre-college program offers intensive studio, technical, and conceptual experience for high school students. The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design offers a continuing education program that includes fine art and design disciplines, special interests and travel. It also includes skill and discipline-specific classes, lectures and other special presentations and opportunities for educational travel.
