Business Transactions
The IP attorneys in the IP Transactions Group at Andrus have both an in-depth understanding of intellectual property issues, and the drafting and negotiation expertise to capitalize on that knowledge in complex commercial transactions involving all types of intellectual property. The attorneys practicing in this area - all of whom are registered patent attorneys - have drafted and negotiated numerous technology-related commercial agreements, both in private practice and in-house counsel roles.
Trade Secrets
He works with clients to identify intellectual property strategies to complement and achieve business goals. He also counsels clients regarding patentability and infringement issues, trade secret protection, copyrights, IP management and planning, and corporate IP development and has experience with drafting and negotiating various intellectual property agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Intellectual Property
In 1941, Merle E. Sceales joined the firm and the firm subsequently became known as Andrus & Sceales. By 1952, Glenn O. Starke and Eugene R. Sawall had joined the firm and the practice continued to grow. In 1968, the firm was renamed Andrus, Sceales, Starke & Sawall. In 2013, the firm became known as Andrus Intellectual Property Law.
