Barrel Plating Service is a family owned and operated business located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The company is operated in a 50, 000 sq ft facility with automated, semi-automated and manual lines for Phosphate, Chemlok and Black Oxide coatings.The company was incorporated in 1955 by Beryle A Rohs. Electro-plating and chemical coatings were the primary processes that served the automotive, lawn & garden and, military needs. Over the generations, the company's coatings changed to fit the needs of industry. Electro-plating was phased out to make way for processes that better suited the needs of our customer base. The rubber molding industry, having been a significant part of our coatings in micro Zinc Phosphate, had a need for rubber to metal adhesive coatings. In 2000, Barrel Plating Service started processing inserts for the molding companies, using dependable CHEMLOK coatings.Originally an electroplating company, Barrel Plating Service now offers a wide range of coating services including Zinc Phosphate, Rubber to Metal Adhesive Coatings, Dry-Film Lubricants, Anti-Friction Coatings and Black Oxide to service the Automotive, Lawn & Garden, Agriculture and Recreation Vehicle Industries.
