The 18-hole "Orgill Park" course at the Orgill Park Golf Course facility in Millington, Tennessee features 6,284 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 114. This course, which was built around a community park, has rolling terrain. The wide fairways are tree lined, and the greens are medium in size and speed. The signature hole is #4, a 401-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg right fairway and requiring an approach shot over water to the green. This facility hosts the FedEx St. Jude Open and National Publinx qualifiers. Annually ranked by Golf Digest as one of the best places to play, Orgill Park Golf Course is noted to have a "country club setting". Originally opened in 1972 as Casper Creek, Orgill Park was designed by Press Maxwell and built by the Memphis Park Commission for Shelby County.
