This place does not even deserve a star. it should not even be opened! The owner as well as the wife are the most disgusting people I have come across in my entire life. Like you I want the best for my little angel and now I can see that this happened for a reason and I thank God for getting them out of there. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Do your research! Find a loving place not just a making money business were they kip your child. Good Luck and God Bless you.

I got a review. So my daughter started Kids Colors Learning Center at the beginning of 2015. It was amazing the first couple of days leaving her. Then all of the sudden, she starts to cry every single morning. I am thinking she is just adjusting... On a good note, she IS learning a lot, she learned to write her name and last name and pretty much all the letters of the alphabet in less than 3 months, also all the numbers! she really is learning a lot! so yes, for learning the academics is a really good school. Now, something is off with this school my daughter is still sad to stay in the mornings. I am not so sure that she absolutely likes her main teacher, she however likes other teachers and she mentions them lovingly, so I am thinking not all of them are nice or loving. I have tried to show up and see what they are up to a couple of times in the afternoon and I have found some teachers screaming (in a really mean way) at the smaller kids (not mine) but to other (smaller kids) I have involved myself with the teachers as much as I can, talking to them in the morning and in the afternoon so that I know what my daughter is doing all day. This way, they open up to me, yes I will admit that they are not the easiest to talk to. I not sure if this is business policy, but I only interested in my child so I try my best to get involved. Also, I can’t go to all the events, so I send my mother or step mother to go in my stead and make sure the check everything out, and so far there has only been one mean comment towards a little girl that cries a lot. I hope it is not like that all the time as this comments by their only teachers and caregivers creates the perfect excuse for bulling and for low self-esteem in kids that are just starting to explore life. Also, I would say that just one or two teachers speak English, so when my daughter started I was told she didn't know how to speak correctly, then I realized they were referring to Spanish language, well my daughter is not fluent in Spanish, as English is her first language and she only speaks a few basic words in Spanish. They also have a good schedule for the kid’s activities, everything is organized. They read a lot to the kids my daugther’s favorite activity and they have a wall from top to bottom of books that she absolutely loves. Regarding the school building itself. This building is a stand alone building, meaning there are no other businesses attached to it, that’s a really nice commodity. It has high ceilings and very well lit with lots of high windows. The decoration is 100% educational and kids play friendly. The place is cleaned twice a day! Incredible! Yes, twice day it is sparkly clean everywhere and my daughter has gotten sick, but not as sick as I know other kids have in other schools. So I give them that much! It really is a super clean environment for your child. The building downfall is the Park right in front of it. It catches on fire every once in a while and you must run to get your kid and it won’t be easy getting there because they police will block all Eureka and any way of turning into 134 ave, so good luck there! The teachers are well trained for this chaos and they call you right away, they will make sure the kids are out of the school and out of danger, specially since there is a gas station right next door! There was an incident with one child found with LICE! And immediately all the teachers were checking the rest of the kids to make sure no one else had it. Right now, they are on summer camp. My daughter is still sad in the mornings and super happy in the afternoon when I pick her up. I get the whole attachment issue, but I would think it would be over by now… but I am hoping it gets better. I wish they had cameras in this school the Montessori schools. I am really obsessed with my child, but what good parent isn’t? I hope this review helps you.

Go Away!

I had my 2 year old start at this facility and I had to transfer him somewhere else after the first week. I couldn't get to know the teacher well enough so I don't have much to say about her but I never saw her smile and she didn't look happy. My problem was how insensitive the owners were. They got so offended at how much I cared for my son as him and I were trying to adjust to child care for the first time. These people have no clue how to run a learning center as they are so tough on their staff and the parents as well. I met an ex employee of theirs and she had nothing nice to say about them. Just be aware parents.

This daycare is AMAZING! My son has been attending for a little over 6 months now and I cannot express how pleased I am with this daycare. The facility is always clean and in order. The teachers are awesome and my son looks forward to going to "school" every morning. I am so grateful to have found a place that I feel comfortable leaving my child and knowing that I have nothing to worry about. If you are looking for an affordable place with a dependable staff you should definitely consider Kids Colors.
