Overall

I got my nails done last week and they came out TERRIBLE!! I believe the technicians name was estrella?? Or something like that.. first off the service was terrible. She did not speak ONE WORD in English.. I know this is Miami but you have to at least speak basic English. While she's working on my nails another employee walks up to the desk and they have this whole conversation all in English. How RUDE! I got a gel manicure and at the end she took a wooden stick and created a line around the color which then made a huge gap between the color and my cuticle (if you have ever gotten a gel manicure you know that you want the color to be as close to the cuticle at possible so it last a long time) So not only was this the worst manicure I have ever gotten it was the MOST EXPENSIVE!

I have NEVER paid $31 for a gel manicure

NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

I agree, I got hair roots done (dye only), a trim, and blow dry and they charged me $115.00. Tip was not included. I really liked the stylist, but because of the prices I never went back. I have short hair above my shoulders. It was so crazy.

This salon is composed of EXCEPTIONAL stylists and talent. The customer service is like no other. You are immediately greeted upon entrance and once you are situated they offer you wine or coffee. Who doesn't want wine while getting pampered? Beyond the perks, my experience was overall amazing. From shampoo to color and cut, my hair came out AMAZING to say the least!!! Myself as well as my entire family frequent here often. I have not been able to find a salon or hair dresser who offers talent amongst many excellent attributes!!!!

Beauty Salons of America has EXCEPTIONAL stylists with amazing talents. I personally only see one in particular but have seen the others work and would recommend them to anyone I know (I already have, plenty of times). My mother and sister are clients of the salon and rave about the service, quality and expertise of the stylists. If there was a higher scale I'd rate them higher because 5 stars does not do them any justice.

Beauty Salons of America is a ...

Beauty Salons of America is a great salon with exceptional stylists! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly faces at the front desk, and are even offered a glass of wine while you wait. It's very modern, clean and appealing. I find their services to be reasonably priced depending on what it is that you get; I firmly believe in the motto "you get what you pay for." They handle your hair with great care and make sure that you are comfortable from sitting at the sinks for the wash, the temperature of the water, and even when they are brushing out your hair. I have very blonde (colored) and very long, wavy hair, and I have never had a problem when they wash me out or brush out my hair (which has a propensity for getting tangled).

Contrary to EVERYTHING 2helpfriends has written, the salon does not use cheap products. Their colors are Wella, they carry and use products such as Kerastase and Moroccan Oil. Last I checked, not exactly "cheap" or "inferior". Furthermore, their prices are exactly what you would expect for the quality of work and the level of skill that you get. Remember, you get what you pay for!!! If you want cheap/crappy work, then go elsewhere, but I know that I wouldn't risk damaging and destroying my hair to save a couple bucks.

Also, the salon and staff is very upfront with their prices if you ask them how much your service will be whether when you are making your appointment or when you check in (I don't think I've ever been to a salon where they just have the prices of their services listed like a fast food menu on the wall. I ALWAYS make it a point to ASK!).

Again, this is salon has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere with many skilled and talented stylists. If you want high quality work (with reasonable prices), great attention to detail, and an overall great experience, I HIGHLY recommend Beauty Salons of America Hair Salon!!!

I was really impressed with the salon and the service. I went in for color and and blowdry (if you saw my hair you would understand the challenge...REALLY CURLY!!!!!) They made me feel really comfortable about making the color and style change (which was easier after a glass of wine). I really like the fact that they use Kerastase and Morracanoil products (i feel like i'm getting my moneys worth...LOL) It was suggested that i do a treatment and i was prepared to say that i didn't see a difference once it rinsed out but on the contrary IT WAS AMAZING!!! The comb out was easy peasy and the blowdry took half the usual time. The price was about what i expected...nothing to crazy. I've already made my next appointment for a haircut next month...i'll keep you posted.

Unreasonable prices. They will not list their prices the way their nails salon does; that way they can charge as they please, The robes are pretty but you have to be a size 6 to fit into them. They use cheap products but charge as if they are using Redkin. The product are inferior and they brushed knots (they created during shampoo) out my very long hair as if they were cleaning a rug (while still wet). It now as hundreds of split ends; had they used a descent conditioner, I am sure they would have less tangles. Ironically, I saw them do this to all girls with long hair. Then they try to sell you some cheap/expensive oil for your hair to cover them. They justified it by saying that split ends are caused by heating irons not by pulling on knots.

The stylist are pretty good but the prices are way out of tune for this economy. They should not charge high prices when they use cheap hair products. I paid $200 plus tip. When I questioned it , they squirmed and then said they are actually giving me a discount because it is usually more. WHAT A CON and a total rip off. I should have the right to know how much I am being charged in advance and during the process. They offer you wine or coffee so that you forget about the price. Why don't they forget the drinks and offer reasonable prices instead!! They are not famous for godsake.
