We will explain the process, recommend a broker or lender, and review everything before you sign a binding contract. Keep in mind, when buying or refinancing a property, that the lender requires you to pay for its attorney. However, many lenders let you choose your law firm to do the closing, particularly if the firm is on the lender's approved list of closing attorneys or is experienced in real estate closings. Sandy was born in Brooklyn, New York, and admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1976. He joined the firm in 1996 and concentrates on personal injury litigation and alternative dispute resolution in the areas of personal injury liability, stock market and trading disputes and complex litigation. He began his career in the Essex County District Attorney's Office where he tried dozens of cases and represented the Commonwealth before the Supreme Judicial Court and Massachusetts Appeals Court. He then worked for Travelers Insurance Company and AIG for a total of 10 years where he defended personal injury and property damage claims. He has mediated and arbitrated claims in excess of seven figures and has an impressive record of successfully mediating complex disputes. Sandy lives in Boston with his wife Lee and has two children, Andrew and Lindsay.

Attorney Sandy Rabkin has spent most of his career practicing personal injury law, almost exclusively, including the mediation and arbitration of personal injury cases for other attorneys.
