This is for Sunday brunch -- large selection, good quality food. After multiple visits, never any issue in any category. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. Group seating well arranged. Again, food, service, accommodation -- always very good.

First time going to The Bristol for Brunch. Loved the different cheeses and fresh fruits. Great selection of food and the dessert was amazing. Nice atmosphere and excellent service. I look forward to returning for another wonderful meal.

We had a very sad experience at the North Hourstbourne Bristol Bar & Grill last evening. The springs in the seats were worn out, the inexperienced waiter fumbled through out our meals and even tried to keeep a 50% tip for himself, in asking "do you need change?". The food was just ok, and the other staff slumped at the desk in front of the door did not smile or welcome us.

Although I have eaten at other Bristols - Downtown, Highlands and Jeff town and have been impressed, the recent trip with my wife on Dec 30, 2011 was not a great experience. Our intention was a glass of drinks and appetizers- The Calamari was over cooked to the point of making it uneatable. The Crab cakes which at other Bristols are well renouned, came to us without form, greasy and far below what would consider good in taste and texture. Service was good, and the waiter very pleasant. I noticed others also seemingly having issues with the food quality. In talking with some of my friends, this Bristol has had continuing challenges in food quality for some time, I believe its time for the management to recognize this and resolve. Its has the qualities for a great venue, but they have missed the mark with us. Tom K

We stopped there after church not knowing they had a brunch. We found the breakfast, lunch and desserts were all very good, as was the service. We sat outside and would do it again. We are bringing a group there soon and will find out how they all like it.
