Overall

Best place in Louisville to buy home goods. The staff is knowledgeable, and the customer service is the best all around. The Manager is consumer friendly and Stephanie along with Whitney are always welcoming and polite. I tell all my family and friends to check out you guys before ever going any place else.

I order my sectional and rug in November from the Outerloop location in Louisville I didn't receive my couch til late January! I didn't receive the wrong rug til February I paid for delivery they said I had to bring the rug back to receive the right one. I have no way of doing that and the retail hours I work along with being a single mom with kids in sports have permitted me from presuing this any further! But frankly your company owes me the right rug! The manager promised me a &100 Giftcard that I never received and I'm sick your company is allowed to do business in this manner!

Bought my furniture on jan 25, 15. Told it would take 30 days for delivery. I was fine with that, even though it seemed excessive. More than 30 days pass and nothing. Finally get a call n message asking to set up a delivery time. However when I call back, nobody answers! I leave messages and nothing. Week or so goes by and I finally get a live person, only to be told my furniture is on back order!!? Then why call me!! This dance continues n now I'm at over two months and no furniture! I call store directly! Get call center n told a manager will get back to me in 24-48 hours!!! Uh, if the store is open then why can't I talk with someone!! I'm being told not till end of April for my furniture! 3 months!! Not a good business plan! I'm done! Going shopping else where for furniture and I'll tell all I meet what I went through and to never shop at Ashley furniture!

We have had a horrible experience at Ashley Furniture. From not receiving our purchase to receiving damaged items.... Atrocious Customer service while trying to get the situation resolved. The company is basically holding our cash hostage even though they were unable to deliver our items. We have spent an excessive amount of time trying to get our money back and we are still waiting.... Do not buy from this store unless you want EXTREME FRUSTRATION AND DISAPPOINTMENT!

I was floored by all the bad reviews I read, and yet here I am to add to another bad review.I will never purchase anything from ashley's. The whole experience from walking even in the door was bad, but I really like this recliner it had a unique look to it,so I purchased it anyway. Come to find out my delivery date wasn't until 4 weeks out. I never received a phone call about scheduling a delivery date which they promised. I called back on the 5th week which they seem to have problems with answering the phone, they gave me the number for the delivery department. I was told the chair was there at the store and that it was my fault that I should have scheduled a delivery date. I Tried to call back to the store again to confirm when will I get my chair and they told me that it was still in North Carolina. I call back again the next day I must have called about 6 times finally I got ahold of someone and they scheduled a delivery date the next following week. I just called the day of the delivery date to see if it was going to get delivered. I never received the call the night before or an email that was promised with confirmation and I still did not get the chair delivered when it was due. Now I have to wait another week, which is week 7, let's see if it even shows up. As far as walking into the store the salesperson didn't even introduce himself and I felt like I was being the salesman by asking all the questions I felt like the guy was there to collect a check because he sure did not show any intrest to be a salesperson. Bottom line to the whole story is my patience have ran thin,they don't seem to have concern about customer satisfaction, they lie to their customers,they gave you the runaround.yes I did receive a little bit of a discount but I rather of had paid full price to receive the chair on time as expected.

I wouldn't buy anything from Ashley ever again. I was told by quite a few people not to go there and I wish I had listened. I ordered a piece of furniture on November 29th 2014 and the latest delivery date was for Dec. 31st. We were told once that it would be delivered on Dec. 22nd - never heard from them. Called today and now it's going to be Jan. 9th. I tried calling to talk with the salesman we had and no one will answer the phone. The phone actually disconnected me after about 40 rings 4 different times. I have called their number 6 times so far and no one answers. This is horrible customer service and I will spread the word. Totally uncalled for! !!!!!!!!!! I'm submitting as an anonymous writer because I am at work.

I know it is not the best thing on the market. But it is a great value for what you pay for. I had a chair and ottoman that i bought and after a year and a half the cousion started to break down. I went in the store ready to put up a fight, and they ordered me a new cousion and I had it in 10 days. I expected it to be a lot harder problem to fix. Plus they have so much to choose from! You could pay 3,000 for an amazing sofa, or you can pay 599 for a pretty good one. I have kids, so I don't want something that I am super attached to because of the value. Maybe when the kids are out of the house I will go for the super expensive stores, but for now...Ashley is the right choice for me!

We live in Elizabethtown and bought a full size bed set, a love seat, and a TV stand a few weeks before Christmas. We were told it would be about 2 weeks and that was right. We were called the day before delivery to let us know when they would be coming. We liked that. Then, that morning we were called again to confirm our time and the delivery arrived just as we expected. The delivery guys were very careful and polite. We were very happy with the value and quality of the furniture and the delivery experience.

Do Not Shop Ashley Furniture

I Will never Shop at Ashley Furniture again. Haverty's will always have my business. The wait for my furniture (from Ashleys) was absolutly terrible. More than 8 weeks. And, then after having it for appx 6 months it began to come apart; leather recliner sofa and love seat. It was very difficult to have someone from service to come to my home to repair, and when they finally did come it was said that it's "supposed to look like that". Not good! Now about 8 months later the seam in the leather love seat is coming apart and I was just told, today, by Ashley's Service Department that it's over 1 yr old and nothing can be done (Not good again). Again, I'll never recommend Ashley's to any of my relatives or friends, I don't even know what possessed me to purchase furniture there in the first place. I've spoken with a couple of co-workers and unfortunately they've also had major problems with Ashley's and we're all in agreement with our opionions/complaints; and of course other co-workers (of this major corporation in Louisville) hear our concerns, therefore will not not attempt to shop at your store either. I had to get this off my mind as we paid alot of $$ for DEFECTIVE FURNITURE.

The store has very nice items ...

The store has very nice items for you to purchase as long as you are not in a hurry to actually have the items in your home. I have waited almost six weeks for a piece of furniture that was promised to be at my door step in less than 4 weeks. And the store manager is now telling me that it won't be there for another 3 weeks on top of what I have already waited. She refuses to cancel my order so that I can buy different furniture for my house. My husband and I have been sitting in the floor of our new home for more than 2 months now, maybe we can sit on a sofa by Christmas! If you actually need furniture this is not the place to go! We will never give them our business again!

Good quality for the price but delivery stinks!!!!!

I can't believe how bad we were treated with the delivery or our $2500 worth of furniture!!! It was not due in until Jan 3,2007. They called on Dec.5, 2006 and said our furniture was in and wanted to know if we could do them a favor and accept delivery on Friday, Dec 9, 2006. Said the delivery charge of $85 would be waived. Of course we said yes, but then I had to get rid of the furniture we already had. On Thursday when they confirmed the time of delivery they said that didn't include setup. I didn't know it meant that nothing would be put together and all in boxes. They wanted $84 dollars for set up. For the original $85 delivery fee the set up would have been included. I did them a favor because they wanted to get it out of their warehouse and wanted to have a fully loaded truck. My husband is 62 and not in the best of health. He now has to put all this furniture together himself. I will never buy another thing from ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!

One sided policies and that's theirs. They are not consumer friendly.

Their policies for returns or refunds stink. You are stuck with a piece of furniture once you purchase it. Everything is geared their way as if the consumer doesn't count. Read everything on the paperwork before you sign or pay them anything.

Forced to cancel my $3,000.00 order because they couldn't deliver the furniture on time,

Changed my time on delivery 3 times and the 4th time couldn't guarantee it even at that time . . . Can't wait forever, it's already been over a month. I will not buy another stick of furniture from your store, keet getting the run around. and I've already paid in full!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now their telling me I have to wait one week to get a check refund!!!!! I DON'T THINK SO! THEY'VE TRE TIED MY MONEY UP LONG ENOUGH! I NEED MY MONEY NOW TO GO BUY FUNITURE SOMEWHERE ELSE. I AM NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!
