Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ

Prompt take out service but a bit pricey for a standard chain quality food. I had the tri-tip dinner with corn on the cob and mashed sweet potaoes. The tri tip was basically perfect, tender and well sauced (once I added some of their classic BBQ sauce). The sides were solid, but needed seasoning. They are catering the general population, but when I think of great BBQ food it needs some southern spices to make it stand out. The rolls were a bit disappointing, they were pretty dry. And the apple butter, wasn't traditional apple butter, but instead just seemed to be some butter with a very faint apple pie spice mixed in. Maybe they left out my real apple butter. Again the medium portion of meat was perfectly cooked, but overall there just wasn't anything to keep me from just making the same foods at home with some real southern flavor for half the price. They also used way to much packaging to send home a take out order, which makes the main entree look tiny and lonely.

Some great bbq! Although a little messy, well worth it! I reccomend you sit upstairs on the patio.

Amazing food and awesome, friendly service make for a really enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!
