Discount Tire

My car got a flat tire over the weekend, and having no clue as how to fix it myself, I first contacted AAA for assistance. After they put air in the flat tire, I went to this Discount Tire location, to either get it fixed or get a new tire. Their initial service was friendly and quick, and although I'm a woman too, I detected no preferential or discriminatory treatment, even though there was one male customer there, as well as a couple (both were in front of me in the line anyway). Without having made an appointment, as this was an emergency, it took only one hour (there were four cars in front of mine) for the Discount Tire guys to find the leak, and patch it. They even balanced and rotated my tires!In future I will definitely return for any tire issues, or replacements.

Although I had made an appointment and was the second person in line when the doors opened, the manager chose to bypass me wait on the third person instead of me. I was having tires rotated and the third person (a man) was purchasing tires. Apparently, the manager felt that particular customer required preferential treatment. I had to wait several minutes before someone came from the service bay area to wait on me.I responded negatively to a survey I received and gave the service I received a poor rating. The manager called and said he doesn't ordinarily double-book appointments, but he did in this case to accommodate the (male) customer. I don't know if this is the type of unfair treatment female customers receive from all Discount Tire Stores or if this is the only store that is selective about whom they wait on even if the person is standing in line and took the time to book an appointment almost a week ahead of time.This store at 2307 W Belleview Ave., Littleton, CO wil
