Powerhouse Gym

The longest contract and can't cancel even if youre broke and cant afford it. Sucks asss!!!! Never heard of a contract that is 3 years! It's like a car lease! So disappointed!

Gym is back in great shape!

Been here for over 3 years and its had its up and downs but management is back in good hands

The gym is 24 hours. I just signed up last week and so far so good. The staff is nice and cute. The members are always going to work.

I do not know about any of the other reviews but this gym is awesome! The staff is always energetic and the members are friendly. Of course if you do not read your contract you will have problems.

Horribly run gym. If you plan on signing a contract with this gym, you better have some attorneys with you! I currently have my driver's license suspended for 3 months and can not drive to gym. I asked them if they could freeze my membership for those 3 months and just add those 3 months to the back end of my contract. Any other gym in the world would do this without a problem.. Not Powerhouse. They told me that they could freeze my membership for those 3 months but STILL would have to charge me during that time!!! I was dumbfounded by this. It makes absolutely no sense. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with this gym! Don't believe , just look at all of the complaints online about their contracts. Besides that, gym is " meh" at best. Elliptical and treadmills are old and falling apart. People leave their sweaty paper towels inside the elliptical cup holders. People pee all over the floor in the bathroom. There are far better gyms around where you don't have to sell your soul to join.

Do not go to this gym. Worst place in Union county area. When I cancelled my subscription they told me they were going to charge me for two months and actually charged me three months and on top of that they used my credit card without my permission.

5 stars for the livest place in linden besides the bars. The place is huge, the staff is fun, its packed at night with hot women jajaja I just joined and couldnt be happier

I went to this gym livid a few weeks ago because i was getting calls about my account, I was extremely frustrated with the front desk receptionist but she handled the call well and transferred my to management. At first I couldnt understand why my account was in a delinquent status but I can say that the manager turned my problem around from negative to positive. I feel bad for anyone that has to go through this BUT understand that its not the business's fault if we do not keep up with our payments. I was a complete pain but the staff and the manager was able to help me TREMENDOUSLY, and now i can continue my membership for the new year!

This is nothing against the staff, they are great, this goes towards how the gym is actually managed. I went into collection for not making my monthly payments. Yes, it could've been my fault, for not just make the payments instead of trying to update my billing information since my previous debit card got stolen. I physically went there and fill out a form for updating my billing info but there was no manager to take care of this. However, the manager was supposed to take care of this the next morning, i guess this never happened. I went there a second time and there was no manager, again. I called several times and, guess what, no manager. So now, I have a collection entity asking me for $880 or else they'll send me to collections and that would affect my credit. They also mentioned, that this payment was for the total of the 3 year contract, from my understanding my contract was for 2 years not 3.

Hope nobody else goes through this and maybe if they do a better service at assisting their customers this things would not happen.

Fab gym . The staff is very friendly, the members are very friendly. The class are intense! Go Join !!
