Dr. Greene is a product of exceptional training and education. He obtained his B.S. degree from Wake Forest University, where he majored in Biology. After spending time researching infectious diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, he obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Georgia. For his Ph.D., he was awarded a prestigious grant from the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Greene’s research led to the development of numerous patents and was instrumental in developing a diagnostic test that is currently used in developing countries. Through his exposure to medicine and public health, he ultimately chose to follow his calling to become a physician.

Ultrasound
Dr. Greene and Holly are known throughout the South Florida community as leaders in the aesthetic field. For well over a decade, Dr. Greene and Holly have offered their patients a number of laser, radiofrequency, and focused ultrasound treatments to address aging concerns and create the most effective, natural results possible. Dr. Greene carefully evaluates all new treatments and technologies before introducing them into his practice. Morpheus8 represents one of the most exciting new treatments that they have made available to their patients.

Ryan Greene, MD, PhD, FACS, a Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, is a global injectable leader, and is one of the most sought-after injectors in the U.S. Along with his highly trained and experienced injector Holly Shipley, PA-C, Dr. Greene offers a wide breadth of non-surgical services to the South Florida community. Reconstructive Surgery
At the annual American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery meeting, Dr. Greene delivered three of the meeting’s many excellent presentations: ‘An Anatomic Approach to Facial Fillers,’ ‘The Use of Radiofrequency with Lasers and Light,’ and ‘Treatment of Acne and Associated Scarring.’ His presentations discussed his pioneering approach to filler treatments and laser treatments for facial aging and acne scars.

Plastic Surgeons

Botox
Another part of aging is that repetitive, dynamic muscle movements (ex: frowning or squinting) creates wrinkles in your skin. Botox or Dysport can relax these muscles in order to prevent these deep creases from settling in. This is one of my favorite preventative treatments! My recommendation is to start injectables in your late 20s/early 30s when you start to notice these changes.
Liposuction
All Kybella treatments are performed by Dr. Greene's Physician Assistant, Holly Shipley. Holly is one of the most experienced providers in South Florida and has performed over 500 treatments. She also specializes in alternative treatment areas, such as jowls, bra fat, abdomen, other areas that have a small area of fatty tissue, or areas of previous liposuction.

Plastic Surgery
At Dr. Greene’s Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, our Physician Assistant, Holly Shipley, performs all laser hair removal treatments. Holly has been trained and certified by Cynosure and is highly experienced. She takes pride in delivering the highest quality of care and her priority is patient safety and comfort. We use the Vectus laser by Cynosure, which is the newest and most advanced laser hair removal treatment. The Vectus provides high-volume permanent hair reduction for any skin type – without sacrificing patient comfort and with ensured safety.
Face Lift
For several years, the lower face and jawline has been the focus of facial rejuvenation. In fact, the defining surgery for facial rejuvenation has always been a lower facelift, a procedure that improves the jowls and helps to define the jawline. More recently, however, the focus for many has shifted to the midface. A youthful midface is characterized by high, strong cheekbones that transition well with the lower eyelids. A youthful midface can help add definition and balance to the other facial features. It is also in the midface where many patients start to lose facial volume.
Neck Lift
Anyone who has concerns about the appearance of the skin on their face or body, such as wrinkles, skin laxity/sagging, sun damage, excess fat, or stretch marks is a candidate. Morpheus8 is safe to treat all skin colors and complexions, unlike many lasers. Morpheus8 is a great option for patients who aren’t quite ready for a facelift or other surgical procedure, and would like to improve their appearance, without the need for anesthesia or sedation. For patients who have already had a face or neck lift, Morpheus8 is a great way to maintain the results of surgery. And finally, Morpheus8 is a very popular option for younger patients who are looking for subtle improvements with low risk and little to no downtime.
Lip Augmentation
The emphasis is on NATURAL. Many patients would like a lip augmentation, but are afraid of looking fake. Dr. Greene defines and augments lips to give women the natural, full lips they desire.
Body Contouring
CoolSculpting ELITE is Allergan’s newest advancement in permanent fat removal. For over 10 years, CoolScupting continues to be the gold standard for non-surgical fat removal and body contouring. This technology has been upgraded to CoolSculpting ELITE, a newer device to improve patient comfort, convenience, and results.
Laser Resurfacing
Patients with any degree of acne scarring are potential candidates for fractional non-ablative laser resurfacing or Morpheus8 treatment. However, deeper “ice-pick” scarring may require surgical excision or more invasive treatments. Patients who have taken Accutane in the past 12 months or have a history of keloid scarring should not undergo these treatments.
Cosmetic Surgery
Before traveling to Ireland for an advisory board meeting, Dr. Greene served on the faculty at the Miami Cosmetic Surgery Conference. He served as the moderator for the minimally invasive lecture series and for a panel of global experts, discussing the current use of neuromodulators. He also delivered two lectures, ‘Anatomic Approach to Facial Fillers’ and ‘The Lower Face: Old Paradigms, Fresh Concepts.’ He also participated on a panel about injectable fillers and moderated two sessions, including the ‘advanced injectables update.’
Chin Augmentation
A number of patients desire improvement in the appearance of a poorly defined, underprojected chin. A strong chin can help add definition and balance to the other facial features. For patients who desire a non-surgical solution or are interested in seeing potential results before undergoing surgery, chin augmentation with filler is an excellent option.

Acne Treatment
Cyst
Lesions
Immediate after-effects, if any, are minor. They may include redness and swelling, which disappear in a short time. The darkened pigmented lesions will remain on the skin for approximately 1-2 weeks until they flake off. After each treatment, patients are usually able to return immediately to their daily activities. Make-up can be applied to the skin to cover the darkened lesions.
Chemical Peels
Dermaplaning is a method of manual exfoliation that consists of scraping off the top layer of dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. Once the exfoliation is complete the patient will enjoy the benefits of having no vellus “peach fuzz” hair on the face as well as better skincare product penetration and performance. Dermaplaning can be performed on all skin types. It can also be combined with other treatments such as facials and chemical peels.
Skin Care
Skin care products are available to complement Dr. Greene’s treatments. These physician-grade skin care products can be used to prevent aging changes in the skin, correct hyperpigmentation, control acne breakouts, or improve overall skin tone.
Microdermabrasion
Born and Raised in Miami, Rebecca received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami. Additionally, in 2006, she received her license to practice as an esthetician from Florida College of Natural Health. During her position as an esthetician in both a medical spa and dermatology setting, she gained experience in multiple aspects of her field. During those years, she commonly performed treatments such as medical facials, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Now Rebecca serves as both Dr. Greene’s medical assistant as well our licensed esthetician. Her passion for skincare is apparent in her commitment to expand her skills.
