They offer you ripoff offers. They do Not buy jewelry I took in diamonds, amethyst and gold and instead of a fair offer my wife was only offered half of spot for gold and to quote them they don't pay for stones. So we got a 170 offer for 3500 worth of fine jewelry they are crooks be careful

Took a ring to sale n got a offer..decide to wait n ask around to see if i can get better sale value..2 wks after..i went back to sale it for what they offer me..now they say its worth less than what it is..if gold is sold by weight how can gold value drop so much in that two weeks time frame.what a rip off shop.

I took my wedding band to Munchel's Fine Jewelry Coins & Antiques to be sized down. I had a specific request that no material be removed from my band. I picked up the ring and noticed right away it is slightly tighter then the size I requested. I then checked the weight of the ring, only to realize it is 1/2 gram less then when I dropped it off. I returned to Munchel's Fine Jewelry Coins & Antiques to address my issues only to be told that the ring was the right size (which it clearly was not) and that I must be mistaken about the weight. I was told that no material was taken out of the ring and that nothing could be done to resolve this issue. All I wanted was to be compensated for the material removed from the ring. At this point I informed the owner of the 15 plus years that I have been a customer, and ask is it worth losing my business over such a small amount of money. The jeweler replied that he did not want "this" and told me to shop somewhere else. So if by "this" you mean someone confronting you about what is right, then I feel I have learned a very valuable lesson. Don't get ripped off by Munchel's Fine Jewelry Coins & Antiques!!

Good quality work, nice selection, but don't go to this store unless you know exactly what you want and have done your research first.



My (now) husband bought my engagement ring there and they took advantage of the fact that he didn't know what he was doing. First of all, they didn't ask him anything about my lifestyle (active) to find out what kind of setting is appropriate for me. They instead sold him on an expensive and glitzy wedding ring/engagement ring set instead of informing him that many couples like to go and pick the wedding bands out together. (The multistone band was even less appropriate for an active lifestyle.)



So, when I told him that I wanted us to go pick out our wedding bands together instead of going with the band he chose, it resulted in a big fight and we almost broke up over it. I didn't dare tell him that the setting for the engagement right (high prong) wasn't right for me and my active lifestyle because I didn't want further conflict over it. The setting looked good with the glitzy wedding band that the sales person sold him on and it is just too big by itself with a plain band. However, here we are, married, and this gigantic setting gets in the way and I have to take the ring off frequently. I had hoped that I would get used to it, but, the high prong ring seems to just get more and more annoying with time. Sometimes I hope to just lose it so I don't have to deal with it anymore.

I came to Munchel's just to do some browsing. I have a birthday coming up and wanted some new jewelry. The sales people working were very friendly and took there time to show me everything I wanted to see. It was truly a great experience.

My fiancé and I researched jewelry stores in the jewelry district online. We narrowed it down to Munchels and one other place. When we got there, there were a lot of people there and they took their time with them. I like how they do not rush a couple out of them just to get to the next. We had to wait a little bit but it was worth it. They spent a lot of time with us and knew exactly what we wanted. When we came to pick up the jewelry, the rings were ready and perfect. I would highly recommend this very friendly establishment to any new couple looking for an engagement ring or wedding bands.

Awesome! I had an engagement ring custom made based on pictures that I brought in. Everyone was very, helpful, patient and kind. There was absolutely no rush or pressure and they spent 2 hours going over the design with me. I've never had a ring custom made before, so I admit I was a bit nervous when I went to pick it up. But, wow! It was amazing. They did such a wonderful job and it is very high quality work. These guys are the real deal, they have reasonable prices and they actually care about you. My fiance Loves her ring!

I selected Munchel's to produce a custom designed engagement ring for my future fiance. I cannot speak more highly of their level of professionalism, patience, and expertise throughout the process. I came in with about 80% of the details and specs for a very unique and intricate ring design. Through their process consultations my wishes were perfectly incorporated into the design with great attention to detail. The collaboration produced an even better result then I'd imagined. The ring itself is truly one-of-a-kind and receives an unbelievable amount of compliments. It will be a lasting treasure and I am forever grateful to them. They take great car in satisfying their customers and understanding the personal importance of the pieces they create.

I think Munchel's has the best selection of jewelry in the area. They have an exclusive amount of diamonds in all sizes and prices, and a great collection of designer jewelry. They make it easy to shop because they have everything. There is no reason for me to shop any place else, because I always find what I want at Munchel's.

Can't say enough great things about Munchel's. The manager of the store is amazing and went above and beyond to make me a very satisfied owner of a beautiful diamond ring. I had ordered a custom ring, just couldn't get it to fit me comfortably. They not only gave me a full credit on the ring. but spent countless hours working with me to help me find the ring of my dreams. You can always expect honesty and quality.

There is one ring in there that looks absolutely beautiful on me. I was hinting my boyfriend to get it for me but it's either he's ignoring it or just not getting it but the workers know so they try to help me point him towards that direction. Thank you for helping me. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be engaged today with your ring. The customer service is 110%. I love the insurance plan for my ring because if I lose a diamond or anything it would be replaced by the insurance without any extra charges. I appreciate all that you guys have done for me.

My friend referred me here since I just moved here and we love to go ring shopping just to see what's new. The customer service was absolutely polite and caring. They understand our shopping needs. They met all the requirements requested during our visit there. They didn't give us a hard time because we were there for hours trying on almost everything in there. They were really calm with us. They didn't judge us even though we walked out with a little small present for our self spending all the time in there. They were welcoming and kindhearted. I will referred more girls here. Munchel's Fine Jewelry has the best prices and selection's on all fine jewelry rings,necklaces,bracelets etc. I went in with my father for a gift for my mother and myself along with my father were lost. We didn't know what to get just because every thing was just so nice. I love their ring selection and I have even been throwing little hints to my husband on a early anniversary gift for myself. Munchel's has the best selection on wedding rings. I went in and right as I approach the counter I seen the ring that was for me. I told my husband this is it, We went to several stores and they just didn't have what I wanted. But as soon as we walked into Muchel's there she was (My Ring). I just love it. I went in the store with my sister to upgrade my original wedding ring. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large selection of unique and vintage ring settings. Everything was pretty affordable the help was fabulous.I would definitely recommend Munchel's Fine Jewelry to anyone that is looking for that unique jewelry.
