Mel's Diner

The food here is okay, except for the finger of the latex glove I found in my biscuit. The waitresses were (at best) unenthusiastic and (at worst) rude. And extremely nosy. I ate lunch there recently, and the waitress pummeled me with questions about me, my work, and the project I was trying to work on. Then she moved on to herself and and stories about her own personal drama. When i tried to politely remind her that I was trying to get some work done, she got sour-faced, put the check on the table, and did not return. And the flies were everywhere!!!! If you must dine in, get Tatiana or Annette to wait on you. If you want to place an order to go, good luck. Oftentimes, they will take the phone off the hook or not answer because they don't want to be bothered with phone orders.
