Savona's Trattoria

If you visit Kingston NY and don't eat here you are a fool. This is 3 1/2 star Italian at a 2 star price. I mean top notch and still casual folks. Every single thing that came out of the kitchen was unbelievable. The atmosphere is good for a romantic date or for families looking go out for a great meal. The portions are copious, the service was impeccable and the cannolis were to die for. We went out here on a wednesday night and it was still pretty busy, so that just proves my point that this is probably the best restuarant on the Rondout Creek and in Kingston for that matter. The owner Stephen should be proud to be a dining pillar of the Hudson Valley. I come from an Italian family and we are tough food critics, Savona's wow'ed all of us which is nearly impossible. We had such a great time that I plan on reccomend this to all my friends in Greene County. I'm guessing that towards the end of the week you had better have a reservation becasue people must flock in numbers to this Northern Italian Style gem.

Great food, fantastic service, period. When you want the best see Steve and his crew. You won't be sorry.
