The Worst BBQ Ever!!

Not sure where or when the other people writing reviews visited, but this place is absolutely awful. I wish I didnt have to give it a star at all. My wife and I asked the server about substituting cajun rice for cole slaw and received a $4 palm sized amount of box cooked crap. No substitution is allowed but the server thought it was and didn't know the menu. Every question I asked forced him to leave and go ask someone in the back. Owner came out to check out the taste of the food, even before we bit into the junk they served. Then was ghost once I asked about the charge for the "substitute". My wife ordered fish and shrimp. The shrimp was 4 mashed up little salad shrimp, breaded to death and the fish tasted like it had been frozen and poured in grease like at A fast food restaurant. They had no Texas toast or bread, should've figured that though since we tried to come a day prior for lunch but they were closed, on a Tuesday. I ordered ribs and sausage. I received 1 rib and a half sausage. Rib was buried alive in some tomato tasting crap they call sauce and my "baked" pork n beans were mixed with that same crap sauce. I thought we could use both Texas Deals coupons since I bought it $10 for $20, but I guess not according to them. So I spent $28 on the worst food ever. I'm disappointed to say the least and I never write posts but wanted to save someone the heartburn like I currently have. This place won't be open much longer.

Save your money

Not what you'd expect from a TX BBQ restaurant. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp lunch special substituted Cajun rice for the coleslaw. The shrimp taste like something you'd get from a fast food seafood Restaurant, not at all what I expected. The staff was/is friendly, however, unknowledgeable on the menu and as well as substituting items. As if the waiters standing at the front of the building staring at you isn't enough they were soliciting us for future patronage. We paid $4 for a teaspoon of what tasted like a few days old boxed cajun rice, after being told that we would only pay the price difference by our waiter. We were bombarded with posters of their weekend specials during our meal. The amount of food is not worth the price. My husband ordered the rib and sausage plate and literally got one rib and a half of a bun length sausage. We will not be returning.
