If I could give this place -100 stars I would. This is the saddest excuse for a post office I have ever had the misfortune of attending in my life. It began when the mailman started misplacing my packages on a regular occurrence. I, like the majority of America, do most of my shopping online. The mailman would put my packages in different mailboxes than my own. This happened at least 6 times. I tried to call the post office to explain this to a manager, but of course there is no way to speak to anyone except a useless recorded line. I went to the post office and was directed to the manager who clearly didn't take me seriously and instead proceeded to flirt with me and question me about the contents of the packages I was waiting on which was sexual harassment, incredibly inappropriate, and downright repulsive. Recently, the cheap key chain that I was provided with for my mail key broke, and in the process the attacheed key had become misplaced. My landlord informed me I would need to get this replaced by the dreaded Kent post office. I went in on a Monday, paid $25 for my key to be replaced, and was promised it would be ready by Thursday when I would receive a phone call informing me of it being finished. It is now the next Monday and I had not received a single phone call, so I went in. The man I spoke to could not find the key anywhere. I explained to him my grievances and he directed me to another manager. I explained to the manager my situation, that I understood these things take time, but that this has been a complete waste of my time and money. He was completely aloof, acted as if he didn't care whatsoever, explained to me that the man that replaces the keys has been on vacation for two weeks, and that there is nothing he can do. The place is always filthy, the staff are rude, the wait times are always long, and there seems to be no regulations of this place. Absolutely unbelievable.

They really don't deserve any stars at all. First of all, the mail man has to understand that he has to buzz to door to know that somebody is at home or not. When my building door buzzer was working, they never bother to buzz, if so that we could come out and receive the package. Now that my buzzer is not working, I have left my phone number on the door to call me so that I can come out and collect the package. I also called the USPS and gave them my phone number the same day so that they call me as soon as my package reached, they never bother to do so. If I call them again addressing the issue, they are rude to me. Horrible service.

My one problem is that I live in a building and you have to buzz people in. Sometimes the mailman buzzes for a package and when you buzz them in they don't come in. I guess they expect you to know it's the mail calling and expect you to come to them. A lot of people push my buzzer because it's the first one they see. So the mailman should come to my door and not give me a missed you notice after I buzzed him in.

Had a misunderstanding on mail forwarding. Called the Kent post office and they were very quick, courteous, and helpful--resolved the problem almost instantly

Neil is incredibly rude and unprofessional

How funny it is to see a review about the person who just treated me like garbage - Neil. I came home about a half an hour ago and saw that a medical package was delivered to my home. Because I assumed that the contents were important, as most medical services packages are, I called this USPS office to ask them what to do with the package. Well, Neil answered the phone and he was the one who proceeded to "assist" me.

First of all, he just repeated the same question over and over again and ignored the fact that it was a medical package. I kept trying to remind him that it was most likely medical supplies in the box and that it may be urgent to get these to the rightful owner, but he just kept talking over me, asking the same question over and over just to be difficult. I answered the question with, "of course it is!" and his response was, "of course what?"

Finally, I asked to speak with someone else. He just put the phone on hold for about 2 minutes and came back and asked for my address. I had the intentions of driving this package to the office because of its contents and asked why he would need an address. He just laughed - seriously. And he kept laughing throughout the remainder of the phone call. How inappropriate!

I couldn't stand being on the phone with him any longer, so I just let him bully me into giving him my address. He set up a pick up time for the package for tomorrow. All in all, Neil was extremely rude, unhelpful, and inadequate. I am driving the package to a different post office because I will not sit with someone else's medical supplies at my house for over 24 hours.

The phone call to the office did not help me or address my concern. I feel that my subjection and phone call to Neil was a waste of my time. Bottom line, instead of USPS handling my concern appropriately, I was insulted.

Beware the New Supervisor Neil

I have been a loyal USPS customer for many years. To make a long story short Neil, the new supervisor is the most discourteous Postal employee I have ever ever ever encountered. He risks losing the post office a lot of money by his mistreatment of not only his employees but his paying customers as well.
