I had dinner here in 2013. Ordered the prime rib. Was huge and not very tasty. Was to thick to roast and no seasoning. Never order again. Stopped in last week Dec 2014. Was shocked at the new price increases. T bone is $28 Porterhouse $34. I ordered T bone. I was alone and there was on other couple as it was early. I waited over twenty minutes after I finished my tiny little bowl of salad. The steak is huge with a large bone and plenty of fat on edges. I ate the inside fillet area that was ok. However the other side was tough and tasteless. Waitress was real nice and stopped by couple of times. I hear the german food is good. If you go stay away from beef and bring cash

Beware! This place is DISGUSTING! Duping people with a decades old reputation, but it is NOTHING like it now. They obvioiusly are used to getting away with selling thick slices of old beef for premium prices. Big portions of crap are still just crap. The $34 "Porterhouse" was tough as shoe leather. Now we know why the parking lot is a wreck, the place is usually empty, and the whole thing is falling down around itself. Neither the sign out front nor the menues have been replaced in probably 30 years. Tacky interior takes "hole in the wall" to new lows. The place smells like a musty basement. For these prices go to Morton's or Hyde Park and spare yourself the grief.. This place gets ZERO stars. To give it even one star would denigrate the rating system. But this page requires you to give them at least one star to submit your review. WAY OVERPRICED to say the least!

If you''re expecting the Henry's from the good ole days when they raised their own beef you''ll be disappointed. If you''re just looking for portion size they''ve still got it, but at $26.75 for a Prime Rib dinner that I had to send back because cooked perfectly med. rare it was too tough to eat, it's not worth the money.

Provided by SuperpagesThis is by far the best German restaurant in the state of Ohio and Georgia. It is just a family owned single location restaurant and Bar with little frill. But once you've see the prime rib that hangs over the plate or the Ripshin (German Pork Chops) that one is thicker than two pork chops from other restaurants stacked together. Henry Wahners (German pronunciation: Henry Vah-ners) gives you two Ripshins! anyway! My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE : Wiener Schnitzel (a pounded breaded fried pork patty) With the most amazing gravy over it! (My Mother-inlaw is from Germany and she can't duplicate this amazing gravy!) and the side of Spaetzle (German Dumplings) with that amazing gravy! I guarantee that you will not leave hungry or broke (the two of us can dine for about $42.00). And most of the time we leave with a take out box filled with enough left overs for another meal!

How big is your appetite? Best steaks & seafood in this part of the state. Portions are enormous. I live in Cleveland but travel to Kent to eat at this wonderful Old fashioned Steak House when familty or friends come from out of town! The ladies are so sweet and food is absolutely delicious. They have a wide variety of meats and seafoods, cut or prepared however you like. All dishes are served with salad and choice of potatoe. My personal favorite's are the Prime Rib, Lamb Chops or twin Lobster Tails, the scampi taste like Lobster. We always leave there stuffed with a huge take home portion for 1 or 2 more meals. I believe they open daily at 4:00 PM and are closed on Sunday, get there early... it's first come, first serve. They have a full service bar in the back with ice cold drinks and German Beer that may help the waiting time fly by if you get caught.
The menu is reasonalbly priced at an Average price for a meal is $20, take CASH... they dont except credit cards.
