The Golden Maid

The Golden Maid did not show up the day of my scheduled cleaning even though I was sent confirmations by email. This happened not just once, not twice... but three times!!! I tried to reach someone by phone and had to leave messages, which were never returned. I would hate to say something bad about someone, but each time the Golden Maid has failed to show up, I had guests coming and I ended up with no help and a house that was only partially ready. embarrassing! Their website states that "The Golden Maid is the standard by which other house cleaning and maid services in Houston and surrounding areas are measured." Goodness, I hope not. So I ask you, what good is a cleaning company that leaves you in a bad spot by never showing up to an appointment?? :(

Just bought a deep cleaning from them and let me say, these girls are great. Emma and her crew out perform many of the previous house cleaning companies I used in the past. Highly recommend using their house cleaning services. What I love most is how easy it is for me to schedule services on their website. Great job girls!!!

I paid for deep clean service, it suppose to have 2 people come in to do 4 hour cleaning. but only 1 people show up, didn't finish the cleaning and disappear without walking through the house with me. She didn't even mop the floor, clean my kitchen cabinet, not to mention the dust left on my window and blinder, didn't clean the light fixture as supposed to covered in the deep clean package, they don't even bring tools to do it. The worst thing is I called many many time and nobody answer/return my call. And their bussiness address is fake!!! So stay away from it.

I have had several cleaning services, but I have never been as satisfied and even surprised as I have been by the services of The Golden Maid. My maids, Emma and Yoli, have gone above and beyond what I could EVER have expected, even doing my walk-in master closet, when I didn't even request that. Everything is always sparkling clean, things are put back where they belong, (which always seems to be an issue), and you can see the extra effort put into making it even better than "Just Right"!! I thank you for providing a great house cleaning service.

I was totally blown away by the way these ladies cleaned my house. I spoke with Lorena on Wed. I wanted a deep cleaning for the first time... and we set up an appt. for Friday. After a few changes in time, they finally got to my house at 12:00 with all their equipment in hand. A little while later Emma came in to be sure they were doing a good job. I have had many of the named cleaning services on yelp in the Houston area, and I wouldn't waste my time giving any of them a review, they just were not worth it. It did take them 4 hours in the end, but they were short one lady, they usually work with 4 (for the size of my home) but they came with 3 because of illness, but I was never more happy with what they did with my house. I immediately booked them forever!

We purchased three sessions through Groupon to use The Golden Maid, and they did not disappoint. The two ladies who came to our home were very nice and thorough, and they did a walk through after our clean. We just finished our final Groupon, and will be using their services on a regular basis and we recommend them to all of our friends and family.

I love their service, I recently had them come in to clean my home and I was very happy with their services. I've had other people come out to my home who clean the traditional way, but decided to try one of these green cleaning companies in Houston. I called The Golden Maid, and had them come out to my home the following day. It was a very pleasant experience, and my home was left very clean and smelled very fresh. The lady that came did a wonderful job, and she was very sweet and polite. My cats also didn't do their normal sniffing the air :) I will definitely continue to use them! They were very affordable, on time, and able to work with my schedule.

They are extremely thorough and pay attention to small details. No job is too big or too small for them. Every time they clean, I am impressed with their attention to detail. It is so nice to come home to a house that is truly clean. I have been so impressed that I have recommended them to all of my friends.

Their cleaning system is excellent. From the moment of arrival until the time they leave.They know just what to do. Always with a smile! Bring all necessary tools and supplies. Very warm and friendly.
