JW Handyman Service

This is the WORST experience I've ever had with a contractor, possibly any service person!!! I WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND JAMES WHITE'S SERVICE! Due to a job change and move, I was somewhat desperate to hire someone quickly to finish up a medium-sized home remodeling project. I spoke with general contractors who were booked up, and eventually hired James who was available during the busy season (now I know why)...



I hired licensed contractors for work such as electrical, most plumbing, drywall, etc. They were great and got the job done quickly and correctly, even though I paid a premium—it was well worth it. On the other hand, James almost scared them off while they were all working together. James and his work cost me a lot more than I potentially saved by his lower hourly rate. Needless to say IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME, I WOULD NOT HIRE JAMES AGAIN!!!

I have admit I am a little picky when comes to choosing a contractor as I have had some bad luck in the past. Always the same problems with most of the contractors I hired, they either start the project and you don't see them again after you give them the initial down payment for the next two weeks or they rush through the project trying to cut corners every way they can so they can get paid and move on to the next job. I hired James and his crew to remodel my basement and didn't run into any of these problems in all they were very friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and overall respectable to me and my home, they were always here when they said they would be, did a beautiful job, and didn't cut any corners. I won't use anyone else to do my future projects. very nice job guys!!! TWO THUMBS UP
