The level of care is good howe...

The level of care is good however be prepared to max your credit cards at this office. They always add on additional services and fees that are not necessary. Take your dog in for shots and a check up and you will spend $300 to $500. Take him in for dehydration and he will be admitted and 3 days later you will have a $1500 bill. When you decline a recommended treatment the doctor makes you feel like a horrible person.

The best animal hospital/clinic I have ever encountered. Compassionate staff, first rate care and diagnostics, preventative medicine, extensive pharmacy, state-of-the art equipment, and a spotless facility. Dr. Lee is a top notch practitioner and wonderful with the animals. I could not be more pleased.

D.P.A.H. is the best vet you could hope for. Whoever thinks they "tortured" their dog is a complete moron. This is probably a customer that tried to get some free medical care and was turned down. If the dog was like that when you arrived for pickup, don't you think you should have shown them that before you took it home?? It's quite obvious you didn't get what you want, so you try to slander a good name. Good luck with that and I feel sorry for the next Dr. you go to. I also feel sorry for your pet with an owner like you.

We have a Cocker Spaniel, Bo, and a Chihuahua, Amigo, and have been getting Dr. Lee's veterinary care for 10 years. Every time we call we have been able to make an appointment convenient with our schedule. Arriving at the office we always receive a cheery greeting as we walk in and do not have a long wait in the reception area for our scheduled appointment. Dr. Lee always treats our dogs professionally gives us the best care we have ever found in a veterinary clinic. We have children and bring them to our appointments the staff and Dr. Lee at Dames Point Animal Hospital takes the time to talk through what they are doing and why at a level that my children can understand which enables them to go home and continue home care. We board our dogs at the clinic about four times a year and have never had a bad experience. Our dogs always come bounding out happy to see us smelling wonderful and have a cute new handkerchief around their collars. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Janet Lee, D

Tortured my dog!

The worst mistake I have ever made with my Pomeranian, Sally, was boarding her at Dames Point Animal Hospital while I travelled on business. The Vet was recommended by an associate- and she may be okay as a vet-but the staff at that hospital does not take care of the animals that board. I thought it was strange when I walked in and no other animals were boarding there- but it was during the week and in a remote location. My dog was there for 2 nights and scheduled for surgery on her eye the next day. When I picked her up, she was covered in her own feces because she had an accident in her crate the first night there and the staff allowed her to roll around in filth without cleaning her for her entire stay! In addition, she had feces on her toys and her rawhide bone so she had been ingesting it. In addition, she was completely dehydrated. When we arrived home, she stood at the water bowl and drank two full bowls of water at once, which is completely abnormal for any dog! Don't go there!
