Please do not believe the other positive reviews. It is obvious they were written by Yakha herself. Here is the deal!. Yakha is the most terrible, unreliable and unprofessional African hair braider I have ever had the chance to meet. She did tree-braids for me and 2 weeks later, it came out!!! Tree braids usually last at least 3 months for me and when I went back to her to fix my hair, she refused and I paid $200 for the entire thing. She is a thief and a liar and a dishonorable woman and if you have any sense, DO NOT GO TO HER AT ALL or if you go, don‘t say you were not warned.

Also, If Yakha ever tells you to come at a certain time, just know that she won’t be there until an hour and a half later. She has no respect for her clientele, does hair in a very filthy environment and will try to rip you off by providing you with bad hair or over-charging you. I used to bring my own hair with me after I noticed this, but her unprofessionalism is what has made me finally stop going to her.

I think yahka is good too and this is really coming from Jada I been with her since 5th grade I'm in 9th my braids stay good and don't come out I've been complimented on my Senegalese twist and my micros at school I recommend her and again this is Jada if you don't believe me hot me up at jadareidd@gmail,com or my Instagram lightskin_jae

The first two times that I went to Yakah I was very happy however my third visit was a different story. I went there to get my edges touched up.The two stylist that did my hair didnt make the braids long enough so it didnt blend well with the other braids. When I went back and pointed this out to them; the stylist only made some of them longer. The hair that they used (out of a drawer) tangles something terrible, and I have already lost about five braids after only a week.

And talk about "PARDON THE INTERRUPTION" one of the stylist brought their baby with them to the salon and all that baby did was haller and tear up the place. The stylist couldnt hardly work on my head w/out having to stop every 5 minutes to tend to her baby.

If you were unhappy with the service of the staff or quality of the staff you should have expressed your feeling before continuing with the service and not have continued to return for devices. We apologize for any inconvenience or discomfort you may have experienced with my staff of the.quality of our work. We take pride in the quality of our work, the comfort of our guest and the apperence of our store.

I have wore micro braids before and I think yakha and her staff does the best job. I received many compliments from people in Texas and Indiana. I especially was pleased with the updo after I received my micro braids.

I think that the staff at Yakha Express is great and they always do an excellent job!
