Sullivan's Steakhouse

It all sounded good but it went downhill from there. Romantically lit, we could not read the menu. Fortunately our waiter had a pen light he shared. My wife and I each had their $48 meal called "The Sure Thing" with the 6oz filet. This is the wrong cut of meat to run through the "blast furnace" oven that is popular in high end steak houses. We cut into our medium and medium rare steaks & soon found that the perimeter of the meat was charred, crispy, & stringy, while the center of each was just right. With a couple of glasses of wine we paid $135 for this skimpy meal. The service was great, and the setting was lovely, but we got the feeling that this place actively tried to sell the absolute minimum product for the maximum amount of money. We were so dissatisfied. I do better with our stove and/or grill. Sorry Sullivan's.

Absolutely amazing! They brought lobster out to our table and carved it right there! Incredible experience!
