Bill Matthews & Son Appliances

My mother shopped for her used appliances at Bill Matthews & Son when I was a kid; now I get my used applliances from the same place. My mother felt they were relliable, treated her with respect and dignity, and that their appliances were worth traveling all the way to Fountain Square for. I agree 100%! Bill Matthews & Son Appliances has excellent customer service! They deliver when they say they will, and everyone in the store is exceptionally nice. That's the kind of service I expect,and that's what I get when I shop at Bill Matthews & Son.

My husband and I bought a refurbished refrigerator about 4 years ago. It's still going strong. The guy that delivered my refrigerator was very friendly and knowledgeable. When my elderly mothers dryer went out I recommended this company as she is on a fixed income. I took mom down to pick it out. When the dryer was delivered I was comfortable enough not to take a day off of work to wait with mom for the delivery guy. He connected it and had it ready to go very quickly. Same guy that delivered our refrigerator years before. He was very sweet to her. When I took mom to pick out her dryer the place was clean and stocked. I was worried about the parking but actually there were plenty of places to park, close. Wow, Fountain Square is changing. For the better. Also just a note: They are open on Saturdays. I called on a Saturday and they delivered my refrigerator on a Saturday. OK So I'm not one to leave reviews but I was really happy with this place.

Bought a used washer & dryer set back in 2007. Refurbished by the owners, it came with a 3 month warranty. They delivered and set everything up! It is now 2012 and the washer's spin cylce just went out. 5 years out of a used set is awesome to me! Needless to say I am headed back there to look for another washer.
