I was having troubles getting my account activated in the WorkInTexas platform.

Ms. Roxy went ABOVE & BEYOND to get this resolved. She ultimately had her supervisor (the also excellent Mr. Williams) to finally get me squared away.

She is professional, friendly, and promptly returned all my calls.

The workforce is a good place to go if you need help, I don't doubt that at all. But be sure to double check the information they give you. I actually went to receive help with childcare while I am in school. I was given four different answers to how many credits I needed to receive childcare. I had actually took an extra class that I did not need because of their wrong information. Moral of the story, they are a good place to go but as with anything else do your research when they give you answers.

When applying for nci the workers on so rude especially Debra. That office is always busy. Just because we receive assistance from the government does not mean you can treat us different or trust us like nothing on the slide. It will be nice to explain what is going on cause we dont know how the system works. Everybody is not out to beat the system some of us have to have the assistance from the government til we can get off our feet..
