Captain Bennys, founded in 1969, is an eatery that offers a varied menu of dishes suitable for the whole family in Houston and Austin in Texas. The restaurant serves a variety of appetizers that includes calamari, boiled shrimp, fried alligators, stuffed jalapenos, oysters and crab fingers. Its menu includes scallops, crawfish tails, and snapper and tilapia filets. Captain Bennys also serves a selection of side items, such as shrimp-seasoned rice, coleslaw, garlic toast and french fries. The restaurant offers a takeout menu that features popcorn shrimp, chicken strips and catfish fingers. In addition, it features a bar that provides a range of beers.
