General Info: Located in Houston, E. O. Smith Education Center serves more than 150 students in grades one through five. The center offers classes in science, mathematics, English, language arts, reading, writing, arts, social studies and physical education. It has an athletics department that provides various sports programs, including football, volleyball, basketball and soccer. The school s library houses story books, picture dictionaries and audiovisual material for students. It has a parent-teacher association that is active in fund raising and organizes special school activities and a parent volunteer program. E. O. Smith Education Center is affiliated with the Houston Independent School District.
