My husband and I are thrilled because after many years I no longer have abnormal body movements - these were diagnosed by Dr. Ginsberg as being caused by TD. He prescribed a new medicine and they were almost completely gone in a few weeks.

Although Dr. Ginsberg said it would take weeks before the Brintellix would take effect I just wanted to report that I already feel so much better. I feel such relief. After the second day the things I had become hypersensitive to were just no longer an issue. It is truly amazing that I feel like my old self again. I am stunned that this small adjustment has given back my quality of life.

My daughter received an extremely thorough evaluation by Dr. Ginsberg. I had believed that she has a bipolar disorder but her previous psychiatrist only diagnosed her ADHD. Dr. Ginsberg diagnosed both and explained the treatment plan and why the treatment would follow a certain sequence.

We are going to Dr. Ginsberg with our daughter for last two years. Before Dr. Ginsberg, we went some psychiatrists for our daughter. To our observation, he is the best among all other psychiatrist we visited. Yes, the office may not be shiny and there is a long waiting time. To me, if doctor think for the patient's problem very carefully then other things are not that important. I paid the extra penalty to cancel the appointment within certain time frame what I did not experience in other doctors' place but still I prefer Dr. Ginsberg over other doctors.

Dr. Ginsberg is wonderful. Very knowledgable. Caring. Always spends quite a few minutes out of his busy day to sit and talk after the appointment is over.

I appreciate Dr. Ginsberg's approach. My children have ADHD and have been resistant to taking their medication. He was able to motivate my daughter to read a book this summer.

I brought my mother to see Dr. Ginsberg because she had been deteriorating mentally over many years and until recently had refused to get help. She revealed her symptoms to him, many of which I was unaware were occurring. In retrospect, she was paranoid so she was afraid to tell our family about many of her symptoms. Dr. Ginsberg was able to get her to reveal that she was hearing voices, seeing things, and had trouble thinking. He prescribed a medication that has started to reduce some of her symptoms.

Dr. Ginsberg ordered lab work when I first started to become a patient. I was disappointed that my liver function tests were very elevated and I was not given another prescription for Adderall. I was referred back to my primary care physician who ran additional tests and discovered that I had mononucleosis. (Now I know why I was so tired.) I am doing much better now as my liver tests are normal again. After that Dr. Ginsberg restarted my ADHD medication.

I developed a rash a few weeks after starting a medication that Dr. Ginsberg started. I am also taking a medication from another doctor that affects my immune system. Dr. Ginsberg looked at the rash and concluded that my psychiatric medication was not causing the rash. Because my mood was so much improved I did not stop the prescribed medication. I went next to my primary care physician who treated me with Diflucan which helped the rash (from my yeast infection.)

My sister is a schizophrenic and has been receiving monthly injections of a new medication prescribed by Dr. Ginsberg. She has been working in a cafeteria for several years. She was switched to the new medication because her previous injection caused side effects. I am happy to reported that she started to teach herself how to read.

He is a matter of fact, no nonsense doctor. He listens and asks individualized questions, unlike other doctors I have seen. - The doctors that have their set ideas and answers and wont listen to you because they are right- end of story.
