Marcel sold me a real pack of crap. First he sold me a car stereo that turned out NOT to be the one I purchased and paid for...some cheaper knock off. When called on it...he laughed and then had his installer switch it out.



THEN, sells me a power antenna that is a "10 minute job". Came back this morning to find out the installer told him that it is NOT a 10 minute job, as the fender and front bumper have to be removed to install the antenna on a classic vehicle (let an audio place do body shop tasks on a classic car, oh hell no). Marcel REFUSED to refund my money. He was also heard to say to another employee (that he didn't figure I could hear)..."don't tell them they can use their current antenna, you don't make sales that way". Complete and total JERK.



I will now let my credit card company, the BBB and the Attorney General deal with them. All cases were filed today "in 10 minutes"! HA! Gotta love technology!

Bad news guys. I contacted your authorized dealers, and told them how you all were destroying their brands. I filed a small claims petition, too. This place says one hour... really means 3. They use crap hardware so your sound is garbage, with engine noise. They bump the price half way through installation. They don't do the work they agreed to do at the beginning. They won't take back merchandise they put in, even if does not live up to expectations. They screwed up other work that already had been done. Car Toys fix it all, at my expense... save your time, money, and trouble... get it done right the first time at Car Toys. See ya in court!!

I could write a book on all of the things they messed up when installing systems in both of my vehicles. I am a mechanic and tech so I was shocked when I found broken panels, left out clips, improper wire crimps and splices, cross threaded screws, damage to the power door lock, they didn't check that the power window would catch the wires and it broke the lock, they chiseled a huge hole behind my license plate for the camera wire instead of drilling, they did not install all of the accessories that came with the systems. I actually like AJ the owner but that's as far as it goes. I have pictures to prove this and I had to go to another installer to fix all the bird nest of wires and mistakes. Do not let these people work on your car unless you are supervising them and then they may be trouble. I actually went back and AJ did say he would fix the damage but I was not about to let them work on my vehicles again...

The management is great. They did an awesome job on my truck. The people were very knowledgeable about the products they carry. I would recommend them to anybody.

Not a professional place. Went there to get my car tinted and went through a month long ordeal. The car got tinted but the deaf guy cut my seal by accident which is fine but he tried to hide it from me. Because of this the window was screeching big time every time I tried to open it. Finally after some back and forth they agreed to retint the window. While I was there for this I went to the back to see what they were doing and they werent retinting the window but instead he proceeded to cut the seal even more. after some back and forth again they agreed to get me a new seal. 3 weeks later when they installed the new seal they messed up my alarm in the process. I went back there and got it fixed. They did live up to customer service after the job was done but made me waste alot of time and in that i noticed they had alot of customers going back to them because the job that was done was not done right. DONT GO THERE

today i went to go get a sub and amp installed here, i sat in the shop waiting on someone to help me out for about 20 mins not one of the 4 employees even noticed i was in the shop. and most of the time they were cussing out someone over the phone and arguing with each other about that person on the phone. so i walked out unhelped and went to a place that actually has people that do their job and act like a professional i would not recomend this store to anyone. they have terrible customer service and manners.

Had a Viper 5901 alarm and a set of train horns installed in my truck. Best investment and installation ever. Big thanks to AJ for showing me his train horns...I pity the next person who tries to jack with my truck.

be prepared to wait

if you have all the time in the world to wait then by all means visit them .they do have the best tinter in houston

and one of the best car audio techs. but they are always very busy so service is slow. they really know thier products

in and out but becareful about pricing .i have heard first hand the same product and 3 different prices.

The people there may not be the best, but they try their best. I agree with the prior 2 reviews that they're not the most knowledgeable people, but I like them. Keep in mind: they've only been open for a few months. There's still a lot of things they need to learn about customer service, etc. I do not represent the store or anybody there, but I will help anyone who's had a problem in any way I possibly can. I've bought 2sets Q Power yellow series tweeters $5/pair and4x Q Power silver series 8" $25/ea from them and am satisfied. Contact me for any help you may need.

If this review had no stars this is what I would give them. Horrible just horrible, I was stuck with this place because I had to have my car alarm installed today, and couldn't wait, I live in the ghetto. I already had my truck broken into, so yeah. There is no customer service unless you speak ebonics or spanish, if you speak the second language.....english you are out of luck. They installed my alarm very poorly, they didnt even take the time to install the hood pin, I had to wait almost five hours for the install in a place that doesnt believe in air conditioning. Stay far away from this place, I wouldnt go back if it was free!

I got my car tinted here the Thursday before mother's day 2008.not only did i get a couple bubbles in my tint a week afterwards with took them 3 long days to correct the problem (probably because i already paid and wasn't a moneymaker for them anymore) very bad service plus they broke 2 vents in my rear dashboard! I do not recommend them to anyone unless you want your car messed up! very very bad!!!!!!!!!!!!stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
