Overall
GREAT SERVICE

I have lived in the valley for over thirty years and have owned four vehicles in that time. Hemet Auto Glass has tinted all of my vehicles as well as my friends and family. Their service is always great and their prices competitive.

Never go to this business. I had my windows tinted on my car, and the were awful!!! I took my car back the same week, with the lifetime warranty paperwork they gave me. The owner refused to redo the windows. Now I have bubbles all over my tint, and it looks dirty as you look out them. Save yourself time, money and frustration. Go somewhere else!!!

Overall
Terrible

I had my windows tinted on my Grand Am 4 years ago. The tint was okay and i was told its a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I had to go back a little over 2 years later because the back window was bubbling up (from using the defrost i was told). The owner replaced the back window tint (with some grumbling). Then i just went back after 4 years because my back door window was peeling at the bottom (from cracking the windows all the time). The owner (same guy) told me he just took over the business a few years ago and asked if i had the card that showed the brand of window tint so he could honor the warranty. (i had my reciept) and was never given the information he asked for. I had to argue with him and he finally offered to pay half to fix it. SO WHAT PART OF LIFETIME GUARANTEE DID I NOT UNDERSTAND? Do not go here. The tinting is so so and then they guarantee it but when you go back....all of a sudden its a different story.

Overall
Terrible Tint Job

I took my vehicle over to Hemet Auto Glass in an attempt to have the two front windows re-tinted due to window replacement. I had previously had my windows tinted so it was very important to me that the tint matched the existing window tint. The first question that I asked was just that..."Can you match the tint that I have on my rear windows?" The answer was yes so I proceeded forward with the job. I picked my vehicle up after the shop had closed due to my work schedule. When I arrived I was met by a vehicle which was full of smuged windows of which looked like they had thrown a few gallons of liquid in the interior. The front windshield was full of water streaks of which I could barely see out of. The clincher was the fact that Hemet Auto Glass used a metalic tint to match up to my existing windows which were tinted with non-metalic tint. For any of you who don't know the difference between the two... the metallic tint gives the window a mirror-like finish. So in the end I had all of the rear windows which were black and the front windows which were now completely different.

I returned to Hemet Auto Glass the next morning and explained my dissatifaction. I was told that I this was the only tint that they had and that they could not re-do the job. There was no attempt from the shop's Manager to fix the job. This response surprised me because this is a business that has been around for nineteen years. Finally, I realized that I was going to get nowhere. I would rather have no tint on my vehicle than what Hemet Auto Glass had installed so I asked that they remove the tint that they had installled. They did remove the tint but in the meantime they put a deep scratch in the brand new window on the passenger side. I have to say that this is one of the most unprofessional experiences that I have ever had at a business. Please do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to doing business with Hemet Auto Glass.
