Valley Inn Motel

This hotel is terrible. We were quoted a rate on the phone, but when they had us sign for the room the total was $20 more than what was quoted. Room was dirty and when we turned down the sheets, there were hairs in it. Asked for clean sheets and were told the sheets on the bed were clean and the hairs must be ours. We do not have long dark waxy hair! Staff was very very rude. We decided to leave and asked for a refund. We were told no refunds, and the clerk walked into the back room and did not come back out. Horrible experience. We went ahead and left...we did not want to sleep there!!! Contesting the charge on our credit card.

Found this small but nice clean and quite motel on Interstate 75 just on outskirts of Knoxville. We don't like city motels. Would recommend to anyone
