Horrible. The lady's were so nice when i was there and then on the phone they were so rude. First of all, they never took down my phone number to call me and let me know when my dress was done. I called there and they confused me with someone else. She was telling me how they put straps on it and blah blah. I explained that my dress already had straps on it. She came back with "oh, i have you confused with someone else, im not that stupid". How rude can you get?? Honestly. Then after all of that, i went there to pick up my dress that was altered by them. I looked at it and it looked like crap, to say the least. It had strings hanging out everywhere, there were snags in the hemming in a couple places, they took it out around my ribs and you could tell 100% that the dress was altered. When i put my dress on after alterations were done, the dress was still to tight above my hips. The stitching was coming apart. When my mom and i pointed out the loose strings and everything she made the excuse that those were just extra strings from when they took it apart. My mom proceeded to take it to a real tailor to get it checked out. They were horrified. We took it to Collana's on Lake St in the village. They were looking at the dress and they found a pin still in the dress. Really?! These people are not professional and should not own a dress shop, let alone any business. We had called them and explained what we found and they continued to be nasty and rude. They said that all sales are final and we would not receive a refund. I paid $135 for a gorgeous dress. And then another $60 for alterations that ruined my dress. I am just so aggravated. It is Tuesday and my prom is Friday. I am having it fixed by the Collana's tailor. Although it is costing an extra $125 to fix the damage and for the rush fee, i know i will be fully satisfied after it is fixed. Please don't waste your money getting a dress tailored at this place. If you buy a dress, fine. They are gorgeous and a great price. But i would never ever do business there again because of my experience.

Very helpful! Sat with me and made time. Gave honest opinions and gave me all the one-on-one that I asked for. No smoke smell at all (like stated in the other review). I know they have apartments next door so that probably what they smelled. But my gown was pristine, beautiful, and no smoke odor. The women were so nice and I sent family and friends there for their dresses as well and they all gave the women rave reviews. It is a small family run shop and their products are amazing and well priced. The building may not be much to look at but when you get a $3000 dress for 700 then I don't care what the building looks like. As for the review that stated their issues with the return policy. When I ordered they told me that it was nonrefundable as all orders that are shipped are specialty orders because they will be trimmed and hemmed to your measurements. Also, it states that in the store when checking out. I have always found them to be honest and fair. I recommend them :)

I had a very good experience here. I was able to buy a beautiful dress for less than 1/3 of the original cost. The salespeople were helpful and kind. I was given many options for hemming and other alterations. Thank you ladies!

Never EVER buy anything from this shop. I walked into this shop and was literally overtaken by the smell of cigarette smoke. It wasn't just a faint smell, it was overpowering! There were hundreds of dresses in there that must reek of smoke. I can attest to the fact that the dress I picked up smelled horrible. The other issue we had was that this was a bridesmaids dress for daughter for a wedding that she was no longer going to be in. She ordered the dress in August over the phone in a standard size and paid a deposit. She was never given a receipt and was never told of the store policy, When she was no longer going to be in the wedding, she called the store to advise them that she was not going to be needing the dress anymore and that she would like it sent back. She was told that all sales are final and that she had to pay for the dress anyway. This was the first she was told of the policy and she had no sales receipt stating this. My daughter is a very morally conscious person and paid for the dress and picked it up even though she will never use it and it could have just as easily been sent back. Now she is stuck with a dress that smells disgusting that she will never use and will probably having a hard time selling because it smells so bad. I think its important for people to know how poorly this business is run.
