Keno's Pet Grooming Salon

I brought my 6 month maltese to be groomed at Keno's a couple of weeks ago. They said there were mats of hair on his ears so they would have to shave the hair. I said fine, as long as they were careful. They said, "No Problem". Well, it turned out to be a very BIG problem. The groomers at 'Kenos' sliced a piece at the end of both ears on my poor puppy! My puppy also had little cuts around his genitals, where the groomers also shaved. When I got him home, he was extremely traumatized, bleeding and in pain!! I had to take him to the vet due to all the injuries, both physical and mental that "Keno's Dog Groomers put him through. I spoke with 'Nick', one of the owners. He never even offered to reimburse me for the vet bill. Heck~he didn't even reimburse me for the 'CHOP JOB'!!! PLEASE~DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! They are physically and mentally ABUSIVE to the poor animals they so call 'groom'!!!

Horrible experience and I would recommend NOT TO TAKE YOUR DOG THERE as the groomers are unprofessional and liars.

Unfortunately, I took my 3 lbs Yorkie to Keno’s a few times and was always skeptical of the place since it is a filthy hole on the wall on bad neighborhood. I always asked them to take good care of her and their response was "yeah yeah" like whatever. On the last grooming visit it took almost 2 hrs longer than promised and I went to the place to check on my dog because I was worried that something was wrong. I wish I was wrong but I got there to find out that my dog had been gashed in one eye.... When I asked what happened????? their response was: "she came in like that and you probably didn't see it because her hair was long." They seemed very convincing when telling me the story, and although skeptical I wanted to get out of that filthy hole as I was fuming to find my dog hurt and in pain. When I got home her eye was messed up and it was a fresh wound. The extra time it took they were trying to have the blood cleaned and the wound heal a little to cover up the accident. RED FLAGS all the way and I should have known better..... This doesn't mean that they are going to hurt your dog, but I am pretty sure that if they do “by accident” because they are a bunch of careless groomers, you will GET LIED TO YOUR FACE LIKE I DID!!! Are they treating your dog with professionalism and most important being careful doing their job right? For those of you still considering this place (why???) know that the area is filthy and you have to walk your dog parallel to Hallandale Beach Blvd as the entrance is right on the street divided by a tiny sidewalk where fast cars are passing by all the time. Inside there is barely a place to seat and of course dishonest groomers waiting to trim your dog hoping nothing will go wrong. My recommendation to you is have some peace of mind and take your dog to a clean and reputable place. I hope with this review I save you and your pooch unnecessary pain and a headache that can be avoided. My dog completely healed after 1 month and now I take her somewhere where she is well taken care of ☺

I had the worst experience of my life. Extremely rude staff. I took my Morkie to be groomed and a very rude lady couldn't find her file, while she was looking for my dog's life my mom spotted her file and tried to show her. The lady rudely took the papers away and told my mom she is the only person that could touch the papers( again, with a very bad attitude.) My mom got upset and we left with our dog. The lady had the guts the go outside to the parking lot and started to yell and call my mom every single name possible, as she yelled she was approaching my mom. I had my phone ready to call 911, i really thought she was going to hit her. She called my mom a bit**, mother**, stupid and middle finger all the time. If she treated a person that way, imagine what she does to the dogs, my dog was terrified of that place, I understand why now. Do not take your dog there!!!

First and foremost....I was able to find their business easily....their banner was colorful and attractive to promote interest....visited their website and found it to be very informative and enticing to want to call for more information...it addressed all the major points....The video's were well made and informative...Particularly liked the customers testimonials....



Will include this shop as a vendor for my personal usage...
