I had a very similiar experience as the other rater. Scare tactics to do weekly ultrasounds and other testing. I developed an anxiety disorder as a result but instead of listening to me and calming me down, Dr O Toole threatened medication. I can't express how horrible of an experience this was. He promised to be at the birth and even scheduled an induction to ensure this. When I arrived at the hospital, the nurse called him to let him know I was there and he said "why are you calling me, I'm off this week." She relayed this info which was the final straw. The one thing about his practice though-all of the midwives and Dr Jazeeari are amazing. Truly amazing. I've switched doctors/groups for my current pregnancy though, and haven't regretted it for a second.

Unfortunately stumbled upon Dr. O'Toole and cannot express how disappointed we were in his service. He makes sure you know how "Great" he is and that there is no one better in the area. He started in the beginning with scare tactics and tried to get us to do unnecessary testing; we started noticing a pattern of the behavior and ultimately the money grab that was happening. The straw that broke the camel's back was indicating that our unborn child could have something majorly wrong with him. He urged us to get more testing done and his delivery was awful. He doesn't listen to his patients therefore he doesn't take time to know them and understand their needs. We waited an hour after an ultrasound to see him only to leave worrying about the future of our family. Upon getting a second opinion it was clear that the attempts made for further testing, done at his practice, were only guided for the potential income. Upon further research of Dr. O'Toole we realized that he once lost his medical license in Missouri for failure to pay taxes and it took almost 3 years to retain. It speaks loudly of the integrity and character of a person. I would highly NOT recommend Dr. O'Toole for the care of any family member.
