I have recommended this guy to 3 friends as of this morning - that's what made me write this review. I was shocked to see the low rating. I had no trouble with getting calls returned and he followed through on his commitments on the day he committed (rare with contractors). He was busy so my appt was scheduled over a month in advance, but he came through exactly when promised (which is why I have recommended him 3X now). And his work was great.

Mr. Gary Dowd quite possibly is one of the most professional person I have ever met. Who is this Mike Petterson? Did your roof leak cause you to lose your patience? Yeah, reviews are worth something all right; like many others with intelligence who can tell you just had a bad day.

Keep up the good works, Gary Dowd, your business reputation is absolutely fine!!

I called Dowd Roofing and left 2 messages for Gary to call me for roof inspection and repairs. He never returned my calls. I don't understand businesses that won't even return calls. If you are so busy and can't take on jobs then at least have the courtesy to return calls. I am a local business man myself and if I treated my clients the way Dowd Roofing did I don't think I would stay in business for very long. Gary wake up sir and relalize that with the internet and review post like this, that kind of treatment will hurt your business and will eventually will catch up to you. I called Competition Roofing in San Dimas and they came out same day and took care of problem.
