Jacqueline's Tea Room

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant. Every time my family is in town this is where I take them. I love visiting tea rooms and I have travelled as far as England to enjoy afternoon tea. I have to say Jacqueline's restaurant stands out as the very best. You will feel so relaxed the moment you walk into to her shop: her taste is impeccable and the rooms are designed in the fashion of a feminine English tea room. I love coming in the winter, because her soups are to die for and I always enjoy sitting by the fire, but she has great sorbets in the summer too. I plan to organize my daughter's baby shower at the tea room. Jacqueline is a beautiful hostess who is always welcoming and friendly. I don't know how she does it, but she runs the business on her own and makes all of the food from scratch. This is experience goes far beyond dining, and is worth every penny. -Martha

Jacqueline serves 68 different types of tea and is extremely knowledgable about all of them. My mother, sister and I had the most wonderful time. Her place is decorated with impeccable taste and she offers a large array of gifts. Everything on the menu was homemade and very delicious! The BEST experience we've ever had!! When in Maine I will make it a point to visit her establishment again.
