DR. WORPELL is a board certified, residency trained physician and surgeon specializing in the disorders of the foot and ankle. He is a native to Detroit and received his undergraduate degree from Albion College with graduate studies at Wayne State University. Following his medical education in Chicago, Dr.W orpell returned to Michigan completing his residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at Grand View Hospital. He then moved to Seattle Washington where he was in private practice for fourteen years. While in Washington, Dr. Worpell served as President of the State Medical Association and was selected as Podiatrist of the Year in 1997. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Worpell relocated to Fort Wayne to be close to his family in the Midwest. He opened the Northeast Foot and Ankle Clinic in January 2003. He holds staff privileges at Dupont, Lutheran, St. Josephs and Parkview hospitals.
