We were treated horribly by Dr. Giles when I took an injured baby deer to her for help. She was so rude and said that the deer was "Just" wildlife, and didn't have any rights. I was shocked to hear a veterinarian have such little regard for animals. She put the deer down and didn't even have the decency to let me know!

I can only speak for myself and my experience with Dr. Giles and Peach Vet, but I recommend her to others all the time. I have taken my dogs to her for ten years. She has served newborn puppies to my oldest, who had to be put to sleep. She even brought one back from the brink of death last year. I was kept updated and it was a miraculous recovery (in my opinion). I know I wouldn’t have been able to afford it anywhere else that’s for sure. Dr. Giles gave me the choice, I could put her to sleep or she could try to save her, which she did. I had another dog who needed emergency attention, again on a weekend, Dr. Giles met us at her office and kept her over the weekend and fixed her up. The prices are very reasonable and I have no complaints for all the procedures my pets have had done in the past ten years. The staff has always been friendly and I will continue to take my pets there.

Animal cruelty vet/ I don't know how they're not shut down for neglect/cruelty!

You would think a vet's office would care about animals and not leave them in cages of filth to die, but apparently this vet's office hates animals. They are hateful, making sure you cannot get any information about your sick animal. My dog was here and it was the biggest mistake. They refused to tell me anything about my animal when she had to stay after surgery due to complications from infections she caught from their office! They gave her shots they shouldn't have, did operations they shouldn't have, and things I did not ask for. They took a healthy dog and performed unneeded and unwanted operations when she was too young to handle them and refused to tell me until it was too late. Then they gave me no information when I asked how she was. They hung up the phone and when I called back they raised their voice saying that it's not their job to check on the animals and that it's not a hotel. Yes, it IS their job to check on the animals! Then I found out after that they let the animals sit in their own filth and totally neglect them.
They are RUDE, HELPLESS, and ABUSIVE to both humans and animals!

Your animal could be dead for a week and they wouldn't tell you.
If you want to see your animal alive ever again, don't go to this evil vet who will take a sick animal, perform harmful/unwanted/unneeded surgeries and keep you from knowing until it's too late.
If I could give it negative stars I would!
These people, from the vet to the front desk, are cruel and neglectful to animals!

I only went to this vet because one of the kittens that was brought to my house by my husband had a respiratory infection that was so bad he couldn't eat. Upon entering (which I was about 8 minutes late, I'm not perfect), the receptionist takes me back, asks the general questions, I inform her the last time this kitten most definitely consumed something instead of choking it back up because he was breathing out of his mouth was 6:30 AM (this is 2:50 PM), that two of them were brought to me with severe conjunctivitis, and that they were being fed by bottle with kitten formula because wet food was too much for either of them (one refused it, and the other was previously eating it until he couldn't breath and therefore had a hard time eating at all).So next the techs come in, I inform them of the same thing, they weigh him, he's malnourished (which anyone could have guessed for both of them because these are in fact abandoned stray cats). Then in comes Giles, blazing, tells me the kitten's temperature is 92 degrees & he is already on his way out. She then proceeds to berate me & talk down to me in regards to feeding them every 2-3 hours (which I feel at this point I should mention I was doing, because this is not my first rodeo with an abandoned stray that was malnourished, my husband has a problem with picking these up at work), I shouldn't be keeping them in the AC, especially with them being sick (she assumes this on her own) & that there is basically no hope for this kitten. The only thing I corrected her on was the AC issue, as these kittens have been situated on a screen porch the entire time they have been at my house SPECIFICALLY so they can be in the heat, other than that I was not willing to give her the verbal battle she was obviously pursuing. She then levels out briefly to tell me the best she can do is give me an antibiotic for him and some eye ointment for the conjunctivitis & storms out.No time for questions from the humans that bring the animals in I suppose. As a final note, the kitten is recovered, and I'll be naming him Ghost based on your "professional" opinion that he was on his way out and there was no hope for him. Thanks for the medicine as that seems to be all the good you were for.

I cannot believe anything negative that I have heard about Dr. Giles or her staff! I have used them for numerous years on numerous dogs and cats, with no adverse reactions. I would definitely recommend Peach Veterinary to any and all in need of good vet care. The only thing that I think could improve them as a whole would be emergency services.

I love taking all of my fur babies to Peach Veterinary Care and have for over ten years now. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Giles takes such wonderful care of her patients without charging an arm and a leg! Dr. Giles' first concern is of the patients well being, if she isn't sure of something she will investigate and research it thoroughly before treating her patient. Dr. Giles has the heart and knowledge for this career and you will not go wrong when taking your fur babies to her!

OK...maybe Dr. Giles is not warm & fuzzy with people but she loves animals. The staff is FABULOUS and that more than makes up for anything else. I have taken my animals there since I moved her and NEVER, EVERY had any problems. They have always been well taken care of and treated kindly. And I am pretty sure that other lady would not know if cages were filthy...nobody is allowed in the back so that's a bunch of bunk. Oh well, some people just need something to complain about.....

Never once had a problem with this doctor or the staff save one and they were dismissed afterwards. The cats we've brought in were taken care of including the ones that should have died.

I can't speak for the other two who have given such poor ratings, but we've had Giles for over 7 years and they were very good to us. Giles even sat with one of our cats that was run over by an inconsiderate neighbor. Another cat, suffering the same fate, was worked on and we are pleased to say he's alive today because of the care he received.

We just took a cat over to be neutered and they were the best over the phone with me. We even updated the records to insure the records were accurate.

I recommend Giles and her staff many times and will continue to recommend them. No one we sent to Giles has ever been disappointed or treated poorly.

This is the place to get your animal fixed. They do a great job and its cheap. My male cat cost 25 and my female cost 60. The people are nice and they even have an office pet. Would highly recommend for getting pets fixed. I don't know about shots...I get all mine done on base.
