Dental Examination
Next, we’ll take some x-rays and other images of your mouth and perform a thorough oral exam. With this, we’ll be able to provide an explanation of the current state of your dental health and then we’ll discuss your possible treatment options with you.
X-rays
The process of receiving dental implants usually requires multiple visits to our dental practice spanning several months. During these visits, you may expect to receive dental X-rays, impressions (molds), placement of the dental implant post and anchor, and the fitting and attachment of crowns, or artificial teeth.

Teeth Cleaning
Give you a confident smile at the same time! With dental cleaning, either the Dr. or a skilled hygienist will use sophisticated tools to break up plaque and tartar deposits located around your teeth and gums, making sure to target those areas your brush and floss can’t reach.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a natural mineral that has been shown to increase the teeth’s resistance to developing tooth decay and cavities. Typically, people get enough of it in their diet, but for those whose smile needs a little bit of an extra boost, we can perform a fluoride treatment as part of your regular checkup. You’ll simply wear a set of mouth trays filled with a highly-concentrated fluoride gel for a few minutes, and that’s it! It’s one of the simplest and most effective ways we can keep your teeth healthy between appointments.
Dental Sealants
The rough chewing surfaces on the back teeth are one of the most common places for cavities to develop, especially for small children. To combat this, we can apply a thin, clear layer of a (BPA-free) plastic-based substance called a dental sealant. It will create an invisible barrier on the teeth and prevent food particles and plaque from accumulating on them, effectively protecting them from both tooth decay and cavities.
