Can’t say enough. One of the most knowledgeable doctors and just plain nice. My last eye Dr said I couldn’t wear contacts so I went to Dr Ricciardi and have been wearing them for years now without any problems. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Dr Ricciardi is one of the most knowledgeable and caring eye doctors in the area. An earlier comment complained about not being given her Rx over the phone. She was told that she would have to come in to pick it up in person. I happen to know, having gone through a similar experience at another Drs. office myself, that that is the LAW not something created by the Dr. Would your pharmacist give or accept your Rx verbally through you over the phone? Of course not. There is too great of a possibility for a mistake. The law handles it the same way here. Perhaps you have a simple Rx. However, many people do not. And, there is no way to make that distinction over the phone. So, the law simply says that NO prescriptions ca be given out over the phone unless one of the parties involved is an eye care professional. Again, I know this because I went through the same thing. It's for your protection. I hope that that is helpful to you. That is just another example of how Dr. Ricciardi is looking out for your best interest. By the way, I am not related to the Dr. in any way.

Never go here. The office is a disorganized mess. No computers, No file system. The doctor was very nice when I first met him. Then I tried to get my daughters prescription for glasses and it took 2 weeks and me finally refusing to leave the office for an hour before I could finally get it. And once they finally agreed to hand it to me they told me my insurance was no longer being accepted here. Which is fine with me, but I have my other daughters prescription there too. I tried to get her prescription for contact but couldn't so when I called again they told me they ordered them for me already. At this point we just need them. But once again its been 2 weeks no one knows anything and can't get the prescription to go some where else. At this point I think I just need to pay for a new examination.
