Dundee Animal Hospital of Elgin

My parents took their healthy dog to Dr. Lupo for evaluation of itchy skin. He took the dog's temperature & told them it was 104 degrees & that the dog likely had a Tick born disease. They questioned him, as the dog has been on Heart Guard & Frontline forever. He insisted this. was a likely diagnosis, or mange! He ordered a battery of tests- to the tune of over $900. Dollars. He even told them that the dog may have something contagious to humans!! Guess what- all the tests were normal. The dog did NOT ever have a fever- that was a scam or incompetence. The dog had contact dermatitis from mosquito bites. This doctor is graduate of a 3rd world Veterinary school in the Caribean. I do NOT appreciate my elderly parents being scammed by Dr. Lupo of Dundee. Animal Hospital of Elgin. This is fraud and that is illegal doctor. Will not use Dundee Elgin Vet Clinic. Beware!

This vet has been thoughtful, nice, sincere, and very caring. I have never seen a vet like this before. In 2 weeks I had to put 1 dog and 1 cat down and they were the nice people I have ever met. Thank You, Dundee Hospital for all you have done for me, and it is only the beginning.
