Minisink Hotel

Hello. This is Geo Clarkson from the 'Southern rock' band, HOSS. I'm heading back to North Carolina today. But before I do, I want to tell the world about an old hotel that I happened upon called the Minisink Hotel. I had to ask my band, and wife, Theia, to give me a month of personal time so that I could tend to a family crisis that, as fate would have it, found me in Eastern Pennsylvania. Just down the road from where I was staying, was an interestingly appealing bar where, on two occasions, I had the good fortune to enter a 'cool place' to go have a few beers to unwind, after a monthlong ordeal that led me from FLA. to PA. twice. I'm not sure if it is because I'm a PA. native, or if it was because that I was in a state of unrest, (probably both) but on those two nights that I was there, I found myself surrounded by a number of people that I could only describe as "hauntingly familiar". All of the people that I met there were both very freindly and endearing. The staff and patrons made me feel so welcome that I actually could unwind and have some desperatly needed FUN. Brianna and Christine, you are both so cool and so very good at what you do that it was inspiring. You ROCK!!! Thank you very much, for taking the time to listen to me, and for all of the Newcastle and Jeager, too. And to all of the genuinely sincere people that I met there, Thanks for showing me a good time and for the memories. I will always hold them sacred. Best of luck to you all, God bless you.
