Sheridan High School, located in Denver, is a college preparatory school that provides academic education and higher learning opportunities to students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, foreign languages, math, science and social studies. It also offers various courses in construction trades, business, industrial arts and computer information technology. Sheridan High School has a library and media center that provides a large collection of curriculum books, catalogues, online database and electronic resources. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, dance, drama, prom nights, and vocal and instrumental music. The school also offers physical and special education, and health and wellness programs. Additionally, the school provides counseling services and the National Honor Society program. Sheridan High School also offers various sports activities, including basketball, basketball, football, cross country, soccer and wrestling. The school is a part of the Sheridan School District and enrolls more than 550 students.
