        Re Co Battery has been “green” before green was a term! We have recycled lead acid batteries to E.P.A approved smelters for 35 years. Lead acid batteries are classified as a hazardous material by the E.P.A., and have to be transported and disposed of in a proper manner. We take all the necessary precautions to ensure the batteries we transport are packaged and secured for shipping in accordance with E.P.A. and D.O.T. rules and regulations.
