Yvonne's Hair Braiding

I had my hair done in invisible braids at this shop on Saturday 3/1/2014. I was shown 2 different types of hair that would make the style $150 or $180. I was told that they were both human but that one was a better grade than the other one. I chose the one that was supposedly the BETTER grade. I chose for 2 different colors to be mixed which they did so by coming them together with a rat tail comb. I didn't like the mix when I got home so I decided to just color it all one color. That is when I discovered that this hair is in no shape or form human because after 2 attempts it would not change colors. Even if it was a human blend the part that was human would have picked up the color. Don't let them tell you that this is human hair. IT IS AS SYNTHETIC AS IT COMES!!!!!! Also it took 2 people over 6 hours to finish it and I looked like MUFASA when they did. I had to go home and use the thinning shears to calm it down and it will be out as soon as the tender scalp is gone. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!

I've been going to Yvonne since 1999. After she braided my hair the very 1st and I saw the results, I was hooked. I've been going here faithfully since 1999. THANKS Yvonne for your outstanding craft

DO NOT STOP, DO NOT PASS GO!!!!!!!!!!! She would not honor a Credit card charge, she waited to say said her machine did not work until the end. It took 3 hours longer than what was quoted. No regard of the pain I was in. Added on more charges to make me pay more. Would not honor her own AD for coming in today receive $20.00 discount. Does not cater to her clients only to her friends other stylist. They paid more attention to their conversations in their native language than to ask periodically how the clients were doing. VERY UN PROFESSIONAL! IF a lack of customer service and integrity is NOTa deal breaker for you, then this is the place you should go. If is a deal breaker...click onto another salon and make an appointmet there

I am so very disappointed. After reading the good reviews for Yvonne's, I contacted her and asked for an appointment. I work until midnight and then do a morning shift at 7:15 a.m. Yvonne gave me a special appointment at 3 a.m. This meant me leaving straight from my midnight job, showering, washing hair, preparing myself for my day shift and getting to the salon by 2:30 a.m. Although the appointment was for 3 a.m., Yvonne told me to be there at 2:30 a.m. and the make sure I was not late. I arrived at 2:25 a.m. and Yvonne was a no show. I waited until 3:25 a.m. It was very inconsiderate for Yvonne not to call and tell me she was not coming. POOR customer service. I will not be making another appointment at this establishment.

This place was AWESOME !!!!!!!!! it was a great atmosphere. all the hair stylists are awesome. my hair looks amazing. great price. i will be going back here every time i need to get my hair braided.

This is a GREAT place to get your hair braided .I have been going to Yvonne’s every since she had her shop at home. I have always loved it you don’t have to wait that long and then braiders get the job done plus u have more than one person on your head if u are getting a style that take a long time so that cut the time in half and from u sitting a long time. All I can say if you want the best go to Yvonne’s and I will never go anywhere else also I got my family and friends going to. Yvonne’s keep up the good work and I’ll see u soon LOVE, pretty girl.

GREAT services! She is the best of the best. Once I left the shop 5 people gave me compliments on my hair and asked me for the shop’s number. When I get home, my husband said “baby forgets about the tough time that we are going through, come and sit down on my side, I love your hair done, you are my Soul…”. Truly satisfied, I will go back again and recommend any one who is looking for quality work to try it out... Her personality is awesome as well!!!!
