This chapter covers the process of crown and bridge, impression materials and procedures for making a dental temporary and an occlusal bite. Upon completion students will be able to prepare a tub and tray for crown and bridge procedures and dispense and mix impression materials. Students will also know how to make a dental temporary and take an occlusal bite.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Angie Hallmark is Aspireâ€™s lead instructor and is a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Texas. She began her career in dental assisting in 1981 and has been working with Dr. Robinson since 2004. She has previous assisting experience in both an oral surgery and a periodontal office and is a certified CPR instructor. Sheâ€™s a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, Texas Dental Assistants Association, and Dallas County Dental Assistants Association.

Orthodontics
This chapter introduces the materials and procedures involved in Endodontic and Orthodontic treatment. Job interview techniques are also addressed. Upon completion students will be able to assist chair side for both endodontic and orthodontic procedures. Students focus on job search.

Teeth Whitening
Tuition includes: Textbook, one set of dental scrubs, workbook, CPR training, CD-rom, visual training aids, lab supplies, classroom supplies, infection control supplies, upper and lower whitening trays and whitening gel.
General Dentistry
Dr. Robinson is Aspireâ€™s independent owner, director and instructor as well as the owner and operator of Robinson Dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1999 from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Following dental school, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Baylor where she became a clinical faculty member. In 2000 she relocated to Chicago, Illinois and continued her dentistry in private practice. During the same period, she served as a clinical faculty member at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
