BUYER BEWARE,,,This place is horrible with the worst customer service! They are rude, not helpful, and totally unprofessional.

I went there to buy 100 x 2cf bags of mulch. My truck can only hold about 30 in one trip. I explain that I'd like to buy the mulch and make a few trips since I have no trailer and the lady working there, who didn't speak much English, said; "No."



So I asked if I could see how many would fit in the truck and buy them on each trip and she again said; "No."



So I said; "OK, what if I buy too many bags and they don't all fit in the truck?" To this she just shrugged her shoulders and said; "maybe no."



Then she called someone on the phone and they chatted in Spanish. Then she looked at me and said; "No."



I'm still not even sure she understood a word I said, and she acted as if I was interrupting something more important. I took a handful of gardening tools (worth about $100) back to the rack and replaced them and walked out feeling like I was in the Twilight Zone. I got home and looked up the website for Houston Garden Center to try and reach someone to let them know they are losing business at this location. There's no email address or phone number to call. I guess they don't care about the business. Me either, I won't go back.



I'll head over to Lowes and see how that goes.

The employees are totally disinterested in helping you if they have to leave the register area. I asked if they had any herbs (after looking myself and finding none), the girl said over there and waved her arm in the direction I had just come. I told her that I was just over there and hadn't seen any and she said, "then I guess we don't have any." I then proceeded to buy a pot that had a sign right by it that said "50% off all pots." Of course, only ceramic pots were on sale and I asked to speak to the manager and showed him the sign. He then said "I don't care what the sign says, it is only ceramic pots." He also had another employee bring me another sign that said ceramic pots only. And they spoke about me in Spanish as I was walking away. I teach in a mostly Spanish area and I know that they called me something ugly. That just topped the whole situation and I am calling corporate and making a formal complaint - not to mention, I will never spend a dime there again.
