Provided by Superpagesif you see any expired can goods just don't buy those...seems pretty simple to me. I have shopped there and found some name brand lotions/ shampoos, etc and would not been able to purchase those items if they were not marked down there

Provided by SuperpagesI was just at Bell's. BE CAREFUL when you buy canned foods. They had some today that expired in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Most always the dressings and condiments have expired already.

Provided by SuperpagesThank GOD I live right down the road because I LOVE to shop here!! You'll find Name Brand everything for super discounted prices if you don't mind a slightly dented, slightly crunched or taped box or can. I think they purchase all over-runs from General Mills because the cereal isle is absolutely cram packed with GM cereals. Today I bought single cans of Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, Fanta, Coke, Diet Coke, etc for .10 cents a can. BEAT THAT!! I used to think it was my own little secret jackpot place to shop but they're becoming increasingly more popular as word gets around. If the packaging doesn't matter to you since you'll be throwing it away anyway..... it's a great place to shop!!

Provided by SuperpagesWhile it is possible to find great deals on food and other sundries - especially if you don't mind a dented can or box - its "buyer beware at Bell's." Expiration and "best by" dates are frequently missing - meaning the only thing you can be sure of is the item IS past its freshness date - no telling how long. If there is no date on the item, pass it up. Packages that have been taped shut are also a risk - the inner bag may be open or may be missing contents or contain products other than what is indicated on the outside - all of which has happened to me. The 24-hour return policy means it is practically impossible to return anything. Agan, buyer beware at this store - shop carefully to avoid being ripped off.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat place to shop and save money in this economy, dress comfortably, be prepared to dig thru boxes to find the best prices on the cannned goods and dry goods that we all use daily. The vegetables are usually name brand in a dented can at a salvage price. The meat department is not a huge place, but the quality of the meatsand seafoods are great quality, fresh and cheaper than at Krogers, Publix's and Ingles, even cheaper than Walmart. The people are friendly and helpful. The frozen deserts are fresh and great, it is worth the trip to save the money and to develop a little sweat equity in feeding the family. A great place for a "Bargin" hunter.

Great place if you are looking for a deal. Make sure to check the expiration date on items. Beware this place is a discount supermarket and it is not put together as other supermarkets such as Publix.
